Gu Zhi (1874 -), with the word "Bing Yi" and another name "Ci Ying". Shanghai Nanhui people. He was the first Chinese editor in chief of the Far East published by the Middle East Railway.
In March 1916, on the 10th anniversary of the publication of the Far East newspaper, he once said in a congratulatory speech: "the newspaper was founded by Wei Ren and Mr. Shi Bichen (i.e. Shi Bichen, general manager of the newspaper, Russian) The purpose of running the newspaper was also formulated by the two of them: "one side vowed to develop the civilization of northern Manchuria, and the other side vowed to communicate the feelings between China and Russia." But the original newspaper of the first issue has been lost. In 1909, at the invitation of Song Yu (then president of Jilin Province), he went to Changchun to host Jichang daily. Since then, he has no whereabouts. According to the Memoirs of the 1911 Revolution edited by the literature and History Research Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, he once wrote "Seventy autobiographies", but it is difficult to find this article.
