Wu Qiu was the local leader of Zhuluo. In 1696, Zhu Youlong, a so-called "descendant of the former Ming Dynasty", started an incident with Wu Qiu. In July of that year, Chen Shu, an official grain official, joined in, and the ball decided to start an incident. The incident was called "anti Qing Dynasty and restoration of Ming Dynasty" and led by Zhu Youlong. Wu Qiu regarded himself as the national teacher. Soon after, the group headed by Wu Qiu, Zhu Youlong and Chen Shu actively recruited troops.

Later, the incident came to light because Lin Sheng, one of the members of the group, told the truth, and Wu Qiu was also killed because of the defeat.
