Liu Yuan
Liu Yuan, male, Han nationality, was born in February 1951 in Beijing. His native place is Ningxiang, Hunan Province. He graduated from Beijing Normal University (now Capital Normal University) in 1982. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, a senior general of the Chinese people's Liberation Army and a general. The son of Liu Shaoqi, former president of the people's Republic of China.
He is now a member of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress and vice chairman of the financial and Economic Committee of the National People's Congress.
