Some noble families often asked him to write and paint, but Li Zhi was proud of himself. He often refused to accept the invitation from some less honest families to show his righteousness. They lived a miserable life, sometimes even had poor food and drink, and were often helped by the clansmen. All his life, he was concerned about the sufferings of the people, which was reflected in his poems such as spring dusk.
When Li Zhi was middle-aged, he suffered from eyesight, while calligraphy and painting were getting better. He once painted giant pine in Zhaoqing Temple of West Lake. In the ancestral hall of the Li family, there are also two pairs of six character couplets, one of which is "painting giant pine is the crown; martial arts scholars are the first." The shangliandian refers to Li Zhi's painting of giant Pines at Zhaoqing temple in West Lake, which surprised people. When Li Zhi painted, he first sucked the ink and hesitated. Character works
Most of Li Zhi's calligraphy and painting works have been lost so far. One surviving calligraphy manuscript is 1.2 meters long and 0.7 meters wide. The content of the book is a seven rhythms written by Han Shizhong, a patriotic general of the Song Dynasty, who paid tribute to Yue Fei. It says: the decisive battle of the Yangtze River has been sold, and the king's career of moving south is gradually swaying. If the Great Wall is full of three characters, it will live in six bridges. I said that the Central Plains know there are tears, Nai will send a piece of stone boring. Just because of the rain and wind under the pavilion, it is still like the Yellow Dragon and the golden drum. It was signed "Haigu" and "Jingyang" in seal style. According to the research, Li's ancestral trace was originally in Jingyang, and "Jingyang" means Li's surname. This piece of cursive calligraphy has the attainments of "catching and controlling diseases, all with spirit, so there is nothing wrong with it". Its shape is like a plum blossom, proud and penetrating. This manuscript was written by Li Zhi when he was middle-aged and failed. By Han Shizhong's words of mourning for Yue Fei, he expressed his feelings of missing talent and indifference to the world.
There is also a stele in the ancient residence of Li family, which is inscribed with the words "ten Mu Jian" and the first year of Daoguang. The stele is inscribed with the title of "the first year of Daoguang", and it is inscribed with "the book of Bai Hua Jushi". The handwriting of the stele is hard and strong, containing but not revealing. The stele is polished with silver yuan, which is the handwriting of Li Zhi. The stele between ten Mu is not the stele of ten mu land. The fifth owner of the Li family once worked as an official in Hangzhou. Because of the beautiful scenery of Hangzhou, he drew a piece of land in his hometown to build a garden, so he asked Li Zhi to inscribe the stone tablet. Its meaning comes from one of Tao Yuanming's five poems of returning to garden and field, which is "more than ten acres of square houses and eight or nine thatched cottages".
In Daishan County annals (published by Zhejiang People's Publishing House in November 1994), Li Zhi's poem "lanshandu return to Si'an": Lan Yu and Lingshou, Jindu is far away. The big ship unfurled and sailed. The heart is busy, the foot is long, the step is difficult, the fall is injured. Many turn forest, cross river turn white waves. The storm chased the boat, and the cold rain withdrew the boat. The boat was eight feet long and lay on its side in the mud. Zhouzi Fu konghou, no ferry I do not forget. Pole support temporarily off shore, waves seize by the surge. In the middle of the stream, the mountain is full of black miasma. If you know what to do with your heart, you will dare to resist. Xiumu, a Whale Rider, was buried in the belly of a fish. Russian Yan actually landed, broken steamer fortunately unharmed. I'm sorry for the fact that I was killed. From the memory of the past, the world is peaceful. When I got home, I wrote poems and chatted with you.
