Life
In May, the CPC Macheng County Committee was established as a member of the county committee. In August, Xiong Zhenyi, the coach of Macheng peasant self defense army, and Yu Peifang, the leader of a platoon, were instigated by Wang Jizhi, the reactionary district chief, to collude with each other and attempt to rebel. When Liu Wenwei learned of this situation, he immediately sent Wang Shusheng to Huang'an to invite the Huang'an self-defense forces to come to bomb and suppress him. On the other hand, he gathered the second and third platoons of the self-defense forces to closely monitor the actions of the first platoon. With the cooperation of the Huang'an self-defense army, the rebellion plot was quickly smashed and the peasant armed forces were firmly held in the hands of the party. In September, he led the peasant self-defense forces to Chengmagang and Shunhe to mobilize the masses and set off a vigorous "September riot". He also went to xizhangdian to show his righteousness to the leaders of the "golden spear club" (with more than 1000 people), so that they would not be enemies of the people, and ensured the smooth progress of the "September uprising" in Shunhe. In November, he served as a member of the operation headquarters of the jute uprising and led thousands of Macheng peasant self-defense forces and armed people to take part in the battle to capture Huang'an city. After the capture of Huang'an City, the Macheng peasant self-defense army was reorganized into the second route of the Eastern Hubei army of the workers' and peasants' revolutionary army and served as the party representative. After the fall of Huang'an, the Eastern Hubei army moved to Mulan mountain. Liu Wenwei and others were ordered to fight on the spot. In December, he was arrested in dongmenchong of the Lindian river because of the bad guys' information. Two days later, Zhou Langshan, the leader of the reactionary militia, was killed in the Lindian river. In 1977, the people's Government of Macheng County moved Liu Wenwei's coffin to a hill to the north of Lindian, where he was buried with CAI Jihuang and Deng Tianwen. There is a monument beside the tomb for people to look forward to.
