Liu Zun, named Xiangshan and Songping, was born in Zhucheng (now pangezhuang, Chaigou Town, Gaomi City, Shandong Province) and the grandson of Liu Yong, the fourth grandfather of Liu Yong. In 1760 (the 25th year of Qianlong reign of Qing Dynasty), Jinshi was changed into shujishi.
On July 6, 1778 (June 13, Qianlong's forty third year), he moved from Taiguang Road, chining to Shaanxi Province as an envoy. On September 1, 1779 (July 21, Qianlong's forty fourth year), he moved to Jiangning as an envoy. Until April 25, 1786 (March 27, Qianlong's fifty first year), he called Beijing. Among them, in 1782 (September of the 47th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong), he was dismissed from office in Guodong, and before qifenger came to office, he was temporarily appointed as the political envoy of Anhui.
