Bai Dunren
Bai Dunren (1918.1-2004.5.21), whose name is mei'an, was born in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. He was born in Tongzhou, Hebei Province. He once studied in Sichuan University and graduated from the Chinese Department of West China University. He was the senior brother of Pang Shichu, a scholar in Modern Sichuan, together with Qu Shouyuan, Wang Wencai and Wang Zhongyong.

A scholar of classical literature. Since 1942, he has successively served as a Chinese teacher of Chengdu County Secondary School, assistant professor of Chinese Department of West China University, lecturer of Chinese Department of Chenghua University, lecturer of Chinese Department of Oriental Language School of Warsaw University, professor and director of Chinese Department of Chengdu University, director of Academic Committee of Chengdu University, vice president of Li Bai society, consultant of Du Fu research society, etc.
Research direction
He mainly studies the literature of Song Dynasty and late Qing Dynasty, especially in Chen Yuyi's research, and he is good at poetry.

There is a collection of poems in shuiminglou. He is the author of Chen Yuyi chronicle, a brief discussion on Song poetry, notes on Chen Yuyi collection, Chaojing Chaoshi note, qiangcun Yuye note, editor in chief of Zhou Bangyan's Ci appreciation collection, and collated and printed yangqingshi sequel.
