Wang Xu

Wang was born in Shanxi in 1942 and graduated from the Art Department of Shanxi University in 1968. Once engaged in professional creation in Shanxi art creation group and art studio. He was once the president of Shanxi Academy of fine arts and vice chairman of Shanxi Artists Association. He is now the vice president of Tianjin Academy of painting, a first-class artist and a member of China Artists Association. Good at Chinese painting.

His works participated in 1974, 1975, 1977, 1984 and 1994 national art exhibitions and won the "outstanding works award of the Sixth National Art Exhibition". Participated in "contemporary Chinese Painting Exhibition", "national Chinese painting joint exhibition", "Chinese painting figure painting exhibition", "Wuhan International ink painting Festival Exhibition", Shenzhen "second ink painting exhibition", "works exhibition of representative painters of China and South Korea", "art exchange exhibition between Korea and China", "art exchange exhibition between China and Japan". The works are collected by "China Art Museum, Zhongnanhai" and other places.

Born in Shanxi in 1942. He has worked in Shanxi fine arts creation group, Shanxi fine arts studio and Shanxi Fine Arts Academy. In 1990, his work "harvest map" participated in the national "joint exhibition of Chinese painting" held by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 1991, his work "the painting of beating dates" won the silver award of Shanxi International Art Festival. the painting of delivering rice participated in the "Chinese painting figure painting exhibition" held by the Chinese Painting Research Institute. In 2001, he participated in the first Biennale of the National Academy of painting. the painting "living in leisure" took part in the 20th century Chinese painting exhibition of Tianjin in Hong Kong. In 2002, his work "love song on the wall" participated in the second national Biennale of painting academy. In 2004, he participated in the "Chinese painting and environmental art exhibition" held in Nanjing and participated in the seminar. the works are specially invited to participate in the "first national freehand painting exhibition" held in Shenzhen. In 2005, he participated in the "National Famous Artists Invitation Exhibition" held in Hainan. In 2006, fan works participated in the "national fan painting exhibition" held in Fuzhou. In 2006, more than 40 works were exhibited in xinyifeng Art Museum of Lanzhou. His biography has been included in the complete works of modern Chinese art and the famous Chinese artists. The works are collected by China Art Museum, Zhongnanhai, China children's fund, etc.
