Sheng Shi Tai (1529-1578) was a poet, historian and painter of Ming Dynasty. Zhongjiao, YUNPU, Dacheng Shanqiao, was born in Shangyuan (now Nanjing). Gongsheng, Jiajing. He lived in Dacheng mountain, built a cottage in Qize temple, and lived alone.
His life is erudite and talented, full of culture, free and uninhibited. He was famous for his books, paintings and articles, especially for his paintings. He once got the literary name by paying homage to Wang Shizhen in Liangdu Fu. There are many books in his collection. Wen Zhengming wrote "cangrunxuan" for him, and Yang Shen wrote "cangrunxuan Ji" for him. In his collection, there are words on the front and back title pages, recording where the book came from, or bearing the seal of his collection. The book collection is printed with "cangrun book collection seal", "cangrun Xuan reading Secretary", "zhongzi", "Shi Tai read" and so on. He once established Qingxi society with Chen Qin, Yao Yao, etc., and made friends with many celebrities. His works include Shengshitai book collection, moling Shengshi genealogy, Jinling people chronicle, Jinling Jisheng, NIUSHOUSHAN chronicle, Qixia chronicle, Dachengshan chronicle, Jinling Quanpin, xuanduji, Chashi Huiji, rugubian, Youwu Zaji, Dachengshan complete works, etc.
