Life of the characters
Little ambition
Wang Ji was studious and learned a lot since he was young. In the 20th year of emperor kaihuang of the Sui Dynasty (600), Wang Ji, 11, visited Chang'an (now Xi'an) in Kyoto to meet Yang Su, a minister who was in power. He was known as the "child prodigy Fairy" by the ministers here. Daye first year (605 years), should be Xiaolian Ju, in the high first, granted Secretary Zhengzi. His enterprising ambition was that after entering the Tang Dynasty, he could not stay in Taifu, so he gradually lost his heart of managing the world.
Three officials and three Hermits
During the Daye period, Wang Ji was awarded the title of secretary of the province. Wang Ji didn't like to be an official in the imperial court, so he asked to be the county magistrate of Liuhe County. He was impeached because he was fond of drinking and didn't care about official affairs. In addition, the world was in turmoil, so he dismissed the official. Wang Ji sighed: "it's like falling into a net. There are shackles everywhere. Where can I go?" So I went back to my hometown.
In the early years of Wude, the imperial court recruited the officials of the former dynasty, and Wang Ji served as the former official in the imperial court. According to the law of the province under the door, three liters of good wine a day. His younger brother Wang Jing asked Wang Ji, "are you happy waiting for the imperial edict?" Wang Ji replied, "three liters of good wine makes people nostalgic." When Chen Shuda heard about it, he was called "Bachelor of wine fighting" when he was promoted from three to one. In the early years of Zhenguan, he was dismissed from office by illness. Wang Ji was once again called up by the imperial court as a secretary. At that time, Shi Jiao was good at wine making, and Wang Ji asked himself to be a tailecheng. The Ministry of official thought that it was not up to grade and did not agree. Wang Ji insisted, "this is my deep wish." Finally, the Ministry of official appointed Wang Ji at his request. After Jiao GE's death, his wife kept delivering wine to Wang Ji. More than a year later, Jiao GE's wife died again. Wang Ji said, "is this heaven forbidding me to drink good wine?" Then he left.
End in seclusion
After Wang Ji lived in seclusion in his hometown, he followed Jiao GE's liquor making method as the classic, and compiled the wine spectrum with the method that Dukang and Yidi were good at making wine. Li Chunfeng praised him and said, "Wang Jun, you are Nandong of the restaurant."
In the southeast of the place where Wang Ji lived, there was a pan stone, on which a Dukang temple was built for sacrifice, and the burnt leather was used to match. Wang Ji's drunken hometown is only after Liu Ling's Ode to wine. He didn't get drunk until he had five drinks. Some people invite each other with wine, regardless of their status, they always go there and write the biography of Mr. Wudou.
At the beginning, Wang Ning, Wang Ji's elder brother, was the author of the Sui Dynasty. He failed to finish writing Sui Shu and died. Wang Ji continued his unfinished business and failed to complete it.
In the 18th year of Zhenguan (644), Wang Ji was seriously ill and expected to die. Like Tao Qian's self sacrificial essay, Wang Ji wrote an epitaph for himself and ordered his family to bury him.

The king of Yue didn't know that he was a man of high moral character, so he forced him to be an official. He didn't look happy. Soon after, Wu Xinzi was famous for his improper behavior, so the king of Yue dismissed him from office, and his face was not angry. After being dismissed and retreated, he went to the boundless wilderness and saw Ji Shi when he passed the moving city. The jester patted his thigh and said, "have you been dismissed for being guilty?" Wang Ji replied, "have you ever heard of Blattella's horse? One of his horses had red hair on its neck and white hair on its body. It ran like dancing and died of tiring heat. One of his horses had a heavy head drooping and a high tail rising. He would kick, bite and kick. He was abandoned in the wild and was fat all year round. The Phoenix doesn't hate to live in the mountains, and the Dragon doesn't feel humiliated because it's entangled in the mud. The gentleman doesn't stick to clean behavior and brings disaster. He doesn't avoid filth and is good at cultivating his spirit. " That's how Wang Ji treats himself.
