Wang Jianzhong (1944.8 -), male, born in Cangxian County, Hebei Province, Han nationality, joined the party in November 1974 and began to work in September 1968. He graduated from the Department of chemical engineering of Tianjin Institute of technology, majoring in Fuel Engineering, with a university degree and an engineer.

Resume: 1963-1968 studied in fuel engineering major of Chemical Engineering Department of Tianjin Institute of technology, and stayed for assignment (1968.09-1968.12); 1968-1969 was a worker in 55 workshop of Handan Iron and Steel General Plant; 1969-1978 was a technician, deputy director of coking section and Deputy Secretary of Party branch of coking branch of Handan Iron and Steel General Plant; 1978-1984 was Secretary of Party branch and Deputy Secretary of Party branch of coking branch of Handan Iron and Steel General Plant From 1984 to 1985, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of Handan Iron and Steel General Plant, Secretary of the Party committee of the general plant (1985.03-1985.08), deputy secretary of Handan Municipal Party committee from 1985 to 1992, general manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of the Provincial Metallurgical Enterprise Group Company from 1992.04-1992.12, and general manager and Secretary of the Party committee of the Provincial Metallurgical Enterprise Group Company from 1993 to 1994 From 1994 to 1997, he served as deputy secretary and acting mayor of Xingtai municipal Party committee (1994.05-1994.11). From 1997 to 1998, he served as secretary of Qinhuangdao Municipal Party committee, from 1998 to 2001, he served as secretary of Qinhuangdao Municipal Party committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, from 2001 to 2002, and vice chairman of Hebei Provincial People's Political Consultative Conference in January 2003.
