Pan Yantong (1841-1899) is a Chinese character with the name of Yiting and the name of Yiqin.
Character evaluation
He was born in Nanhai at the age of 13. In 1868, he became a Jinshi and entered the Imperial Academy. He has successively served as editor of the National History Museum, lecturer of Yuehua academy, deputy examiner of Shaanxi Province, supervisor of Guozi, school manager of wenyuange, Bachelor of assistant lecturer of Hanlin academy, Bachelor of assistant reading, and supervisor of Zhejiang Province. In 1897, he founded and served as editor in chief of the Journal of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Guangzhou. He has three volumes of liangzhexin continuation, Zhuzi Analects annotation exegesis, and zhuoyutang poetry anthology.
