Wang Youyu

In the Guangqi period of emperor Xizong of Tang Dynasty, there lived a Geisha named Wang Youyu under Huiyan peak.

Wang Youyu was originally a lady from a big family in the north. Because of the Yellow nest uprising and war, she took refuge with her family and came to Hengyang. After her parents died, she lost her livelihood. She had to become a Geisha with a natural graceful voice, gorgeous appearance and elegant charm.

Wang Youyu, it is said that wild geese fly south to Hengyang and return, so there is a beautiful and straight mountain in the south of Hengyang City, called Huiyan peak. Every autumn and winter, groups of wild geese fall here, waiting for the next spring to return to the north. Huiyan peak is the first of the 72 peaks in Nanyue. Due to its beautiful scenery, Huiyan peak has become a resort for sightseeing and gathering in Hengyang.

Legend

One day, Xia Gongshang, the censor doctor, passed by Hengyang. The local sheriff made a banquet in Yanfeng temple under kouyanfeng and called Wang Youyu to sing a song. In the autumn, the maple leaves are red and colorful. Teams of geese come from the north and hover around Huiyanfeng. When she was drunk, Wang Youyu sat in the hall, watching things and homesickness, singing a high pitched and exciting "the return of wild geese", which was melodious and startled the four seats.

A guest of letters in the present seat presented a poem to Wang Youyu, which said, "autumn fills xiaoxiangpu, and the song goes back to Yanfeng." In other words, people think it's just right. Xia Gongshang also wrote a poem for Wang Youyu in his own hand: Zhenzai has no selfishness, and all things show off their special shapes; Hulan has a quality, far away from the green valley. The wind helps the show, and the rain and dew make it cold. Once you live in Shangyuan, peach and plum make you fragrant.

In the poem, Wang Youyu is praised for her unique creation. She is as elegant and beautiful as LAN Hui, and her rich peaches and plums can't be compared with her. After such a famous poem review, Wang Youyu immediately became famous and worth a hundred times. At that time, the Huangchao uprising failed, and commercial trafficking also resumed its former prosperity. Hengyang is located in the Xiangjiang River, and the city is prosperous. It is a must pass for merchants from south to north. Those rich businessmen, who are rich in money, are always penny pinching in their business, while they spend money when they enjoy themselves. Because Wang youyuyan is well-known, rich businessmen from the north and the south come to Hengyang and want to have fun with her. Among them, many businessmen fell in love with Wang Youyu's beauty and charm, and promised to marry her as a concubine, while Wang Youyu had her own ideas. Most of the merchants who smelled of copper were treated with courtesy and song, and they would never commit themselves to accompany each other.

Unexpectedly, one day, Wang Youyu is still a "prisoner" of a businessman. He is Liu Fu, a businessman in Luoyang. Liu Fu is a descendant of a noble family in Luoyang. He is handsome and elegant. He was originally a scholar. Because he didn't get an official title, he changed to martial arts and practiced good swordsmanship. He has a strong temperament. With his excellent martial arts and youthful spirit, he can't help doing something righteous and chivalrous in his hometown, causing a lot of trouble. In order to temper his temperament and increase his knowledge, his father asked him to go south with the caravan and learn to do business at the same time. Because of his special family background, although he was a businessman, he didn't have the vulgarity of ordinary businessmen. His eyebrows showed his spirit and forthrightness. The first time he saw Wang Youyu at the banquet, he was deeply attracted by her elegant temperament and moving singing. The next day he visited her. Wang Youyu was soon moved by the young businessman's special bearing. As a result, the two fell in love with each other and soon became a close couple. On Hejiang Pavilion, in shigu temple, beside Laiyan pagoda, at Qingshui bridge, and in Xiushan and Meishui of Hengyang, there are shadows of their dependence everywhere.

In March, the spring is intoxicating. They go boating on the Xiangjiang River and are intoxicated with each other. Liu Fu improvises his poems

Xiaoxiang is full of warm water and beautiful flowers;

The light boat carried little spring, and countless red flies to the oars.

The poem combines their mood with the spring scenery closely. Wang Youyu likes it very much. Then Wang Youyu composes a song for it and sits in the bow of the boat singing. The water on the surface of the river is scaly, and the singing is lingering among the mountains and rivers, which makes people intoxicated.

After singing, Wang Youyu sorted out her mood and wrote a poem:

It's cold in spring and rainy every day. Grass full from Pavilion, water full of PI;

It is not long before the flowers are gone.

Wang Youyu's poems are based on the beautiful spring scenery in front of her eyes, and are associated with the cold spring water. Although the flowers bloom well, there are always times when the rain blows and the wind blows. Therefore, they advise those who cherish the flowers to cherish the beautiful time in front of them, so as not to sigh in the future. In fact, she hinted to Liu Fu through her poem that she was willing to make a promise by herself, only waiting for Liu Lang to make a break. However, Liu Fu pretends not to understand the meaning of the poem. He looks at Youyu with a sad and happy look, and then quickly moves his eyes to the distance. Wang Youyu did not understand his state of mind at this time, and was very melancholy.

One night, the moon is bright and the stars are dim. They sit quietly under the wisteria flowers in the courtyard. After a period of silence, Wang Youyu conceals her shyness through the night and solemnly says, "I'd like to entrust this body to Liu lang. what does Liu Lang mean? Liu Fu pondered for a long time and saw that he could not avoid it, so he told the truth in a low tone: "Xiaosheng came to Xiangtan on his way to the south. When he passed Xiangtan, because of the injustice of the road, he stood up and broke up with others. In the fight, he accidentally injured two people. He wanted to leave, but a maid of a hotel saw him. She seized the handle and forced me to buy her from her master and marry me . I only promised to buy her out and let her go. But she had to follow me, or she would report to the government. I had no choice but to take her with me. Now I'm in Hengyang, and I can't get rid of her. It's a real dilemma! "

After hearing this, Wang Youyu calmly thought that as long as she made some efforts, it would not be difficult to solve the problem. Liu Fu said: "as long as you leave that woman, Liu Sheng will not marry you!" Therefore, Wang Youyu gives Liu Fu some advice and takes out his private savings of 2 million yuan. Finally, he uses the money and Xiao Yiyi to send Liu Fu's wife back to Xiangtan. The obstacles between them have gone, and they are happy. Just as they are preparing to make a hundred year friendship, Liu Fu's family sends their servants to come to Liu Fu from Luoyang. They say that the old master has died of illness, and they urge the young master to rush back to Luoyang for the funeral.

It's really a wave of just flat, a wave again, this matter is irrefutable, Liu Fu decided to set out the next morning. That night, they had no sleep all night, holding hands and swearing to each other, waiting for each other, never changing their heart. In the morning, Liu Fu set foot on his way home with tears in his eyes. Wang Youyu saw him off with tears in her eyes and sobbed, "I'll wait for you to come back, no matter how many days!"

Since Liu Lang left, Wang Youyu has done her best to avoid all social activities. Concentrate on waiting for Liu Lang to return. Three months later, day by day, there was no news. When the autumn wind came, the wild geese came to the south, but they didn't bring Liu Lang's news. In the past, her female companions all urged Wang Youyu to change her mind and set up a new style. However, Wang Youyu refused. She firmly believed that Liu Lang was not a heartbreaker.

Day by day, night by night miss, count the time, it is winter to spring, still do not see LIULANG back. Wang Youyu can't help it any longer. She cuts off a strand of green silk and writes a long poem. They are wrapped up in luopa. She hires a special envoy to Luoyang to look for Liu Fu. The poem is like this:

Door to the sky Jasper flow, a few fishing flute, a river autumn;

Hengyang Yanduan Chutian wide, several times to ask the boat.

Balcony jade Xie line cloud apricot, the sky hung rare spring quietly;

The mandarin duck sleeps alone and resents the grass. When is the time to miss each other at night.

I dare not cry, I dare not drop without tears;

Tenderness bullies the eyebrows of indigo naturalis, and the spring breeze makes people feel sad.

Green window Book words send heart song, look at Xianghan Wan and soft;

There are thirty thousand idle worry, to the corner abandoned pen melancholy.

This situation is silent, who knows, speechless meet empty phase memory;

Since Acacia makes people worry, it's better to break acquaintance that day.

In fact, Liu Fu did not forget the appointment of the beautiful woman, but also missed Youyu day and night. After his father's funeral, he wanted to sell his family property and immediately went south to see a beautiful woman. Unexpectedly, when his father heard that he was addicted to prostitutes in Hengyang, he tried his best to sell the family property left by his ancestors. He wanted to go with the money and ruin the family tradition, so he obstructed him. Liu Fu was eager to see you Yu at this time. Seeing that the people had no reason to stop him, he was so anxious that he accidentally hurt an elder. The elder was old and weak. After such a touch, he couldn't get up. So the clansman told the government that Liu Fu was in prison for committing the crime of wounding others, thus losing contact with the outside world.

The special envoy sent by Wang Youyu tried his best to get through the joint, and finally met Liu Fu in the prison. Liu Fu could not help crying after reading the poem sent by Wang Youyu. He held the note and Youyu's green silk tightly in Tibetan's arms, and hastily wrote a poem

The spring rain is misty, and the willows outside are like smoke;

Now heartbroken empty tears, laugh again after years.

Liu Fu also repeatedly asked people to tell Wang Youyu: "if you can see the sky again in this life, you will not be disappointed by the beauty." But when we can see the sun again, we have no idea.

The special envoy returned to Hengyang and brought back the sad news. Wang Youyu was very sad when she heard it, but she was determined to wait for Liu Lang to come back because she knew that Liu Lang had never changed her mind. Wang Youyu's fellow sisters came to comfort and persuade her, so that she didn't have to wait hopelessly. Why not have fun in time. But Wang Youyu's heart was firm, and no one else moved her.

After all, it is not the way to thank guests behind closed doors. Wang Youyu simply sold her house in the city and moved to a small house near the Dragon King Temple in the suburb to live frugally.

Year by year passed. When Tang Dezong died, Tang Zhaozong succeeded, the new emperor ascended the throne and granted amnesty to the world's prison, Liu Fu was also free.

When Liu Fu wanted to go south to look for Wang Youyu, he was confronted with a scuffle between the vassal towns in the Middle Kingdom. The road between the north and the South was blocked for a while, so he had to find a way to send a letter to Wang Youyu
