Wang Qiyuan

Wang Qiyuan

Wang Qiyuan (1918 -- March 21, 2019) was born in wangdepuzhuang, Ningjin County. In February 1936, he joined the Communist Party of China. In June 1937, he studied in the ninth Normal School of Hebei Province. In October of the same year, he joined the Anti Japanese national salvation army organized by the underground party in Hebei Shandong border area, and served as the leader of the propaganda team and deputy director of Leling local working committee. In 1938, underground party members of Ningjin County went out one after another to join the 31st detachment, and the party organization was dissolved. In June of the same year, entrusted by the Party committee of Hebei Shandong border region, he went to Ningjin County to restore the party organization.

Life of the characters

In July 1938, after the liberation of Ningjin, he served as Deputy Secretary of Ningjin County Party committee and director of Ningjin war Commission, mainly doing local party work. In June 1939, he served as secretary of the CPC Leling County Committee and director of the sports committee. In October 1940, he served as county magistrate and county brigade leader of Pingyuan County Anti Japanese democratic government. In October 1941, he served as head of the Anti Japanese democratic government of Linyi County and leader of the county brigade. In July 1943, he served as the Secretary director of the second special office of Hebei Shandong border region. In January 1944, he served as the head of the Anti Japanese democratic government of Jiyang County and the leader of the county brigade. In October 1945, he served as the chief of the Secretary section of the second Bohai special administration. In July 1946, he served as the head of Deping County People's government and the leader of the county brigade. From August 1947 to March 1952, he successively served as Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner of the second special office of Bohai region, and Deputy Commissioner of Dezhou special office,

In April 1952, he was transferred to Shanghai Film Studio as secretary and deputy director. Later, he served as assistant to the president of Shanghai Normal University, deputy secretary of Shanghai Institute of atomic and nuclear research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, deputy director and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of Shanghai Seismological Bureau, consultant of Shanghai Museum of nature, etc. He retired in July 1985.

The death of a character

Wang Qiyuan, a retired cadre who was a party committee Consultant (bureau level) of the former Shanghai Museum of natural history and enjoyed provincial (ministerial) medical treatment, died at 21:51 on March 21, 2019 at the age of 100.
