Wang Zhongyuan, born in 1913, is a master of Chinese arts and crafts. At the age of 14, he studied fine brushwork flower and bird painting under the guidance of his predecessor Mr. Li Hanchen, who laid a good foundation for his later creation. The Emerald "idyllic sound and color" designed in 1983 won the gold cup of China Arts and crafts Hundred Flowers Award for its unique style. His work "shrimp plate" is collected by China National Arts and Crafts Museum.
