Gongyang Gao is the author of the old title "biography of Gongyang in spring and Autumn". Qi people in the Warring States period. It is said that he was a disciple of Zixia (BU Shang), who ruled the spring and Autumn Annals and passed it on to gongyangping.

At the beginning of the spring and Autumn Annals, Gongyang Zhuan was only spread by mouth. During the reign of emperor Jing of the Western Han Dynasty, it was spread to Gongyang Shou, xuansun, and Hu Mu Sheng, a Qi person, and then it was "written on bamboo and silk" and spread to the world. The spring and Autumn Annals of Gongyang, also known as the spring and Autumn Annals of Gongyang or the annals of Gongyang, is an important book in the study of Confucian classics. It began in the year of Luyin (722 BC) and ended in the fourteenth year of Duke aigong (481 BC). It focuses on the interpretation of "Weiyan" and "Dayi" in the spring and Autumn Annals.
