Jiao Huanyan (~?), whose name is HuiFu, was originally born in Taiping, Xuanzhou (now Anhui Province), but his family has long lived in Jiaxing (now Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province).
In 1229, the second year of shaoding, Zhao Yun, the emperor of Li Zong in the Southern Song Dynasty, he was the first person in the military examination of his own Chou branch. Jiao Huanyan grew up in a Confucian family. He was born with outstanding talent and temperament. When he was young, he was ambitious and had a good reputation. When he stepped into his official career, he served as the Zhenjiang prefect. He made a lot of achievements. He was not afraid of the powerful, he dared to be angry and speak up, and he had the style of his elder brother (number one scholar Jiao Bingyan). At that time, people admired his brother and called him "Wenwu erjiao". The two brothers are both literate and martial arts, but the elder brother is better than the younger brother in literary talent, and the younger brother is better than the elder brother in martial arts. Jiao Huanyan was born in the martial arts examination. Although he was not as talented as his brother, he was good at calligraphy
