Wang ruoji was born in Cangxi, Yucun, Xiuning County in Song Dynasty. Xianchunjian is the head of Ziyang Academy. Xiushan Academy was built in the Chongning period of the Northern Song Dynasty (1102-1106 AD), which is located in the south of zangxi mountain.

According to Xiuning County annals, during the reign of Chongning (1102-1106), Wang ruoji of Xiuning County built Xiushan Academy in zangxi, which was the earliest Academy in Huizhou. Wang had "ten scenery poems of Xiushan". There are records in the first volume of Xin'an document annals, i.e. the deeds of the sages, the seventh volume of Hongzhi Huizhou Prefecture annals, the sixth volume of Kangxi Xiuning County annals, and the seventh volume of Song poetry chronicles, i.e. Wang ruoji.
