Yang Tingyu, male, Han nationality, was born in 1950 in Nong'an, Jilin Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China. He studied in the Department of drama literature of Central Academy of drama in 1977.

On April 7, 2017, Yang Tingyu died at the age of 67. The farewell ceremony is scheduled to be held at 9:00 on the 11th at Zhongxiao Hall of Longfeng funeral home in Changchun City.
