Life of the characters
Early experience
In the first year of the dragon, Tang Zhongzong launched the Dragon coup to restore the Tang Dynasty. In view of Wu Zetian's massacre of Li Tang clan, she began to promote the descendants of Emperor Taizong, Emperor Gaozong, and constantly improve the Royal influence.
In this context, as the grandson of former Prince Li Chengqian, Li Shizhi began to enter the official career. From then on, he was granted the official of chaosan, Shangyi Fengyu, and went out to take photos in Jinzhou. According to the recommendation of inspector Bi Gou, he moved to Huzhou to be a driver. He was granted the title of Youwei Lang general, the governor of Wuling, the governor of tangzhou, Tongzhou and Zizhou, the governor of Qinzhou, the governor of Shanzhou, and the governor of Henan. He was deeply loved by his subordinates.

In the 24th year of Kaiyuan (736), Emperor Xuanzong ordered Li Shizhi to build dikes in view of the fact that Gushui and Luoshui were overflowing year by year, which consumed people's resources. Yin and Li Shizhi of Henan Province used the money from the internal bank to build three levees, namely, Shangyang, Jicui and yuepi, successfully resisting the Guluo flood. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty was overjoyed and asked Li Shi, the king of Yongwang, to write inscriptions and Li Ying, the crown prince of the Tang Dynasty, to write inscriptions and worship Li Shizhi as the imperial historian.
In the 27th year of Kaiyuan (739), he served as the Governor General of Youzhou, acting as an agent of observing affairs and making contributions to the frontier. Emperor Shangshu asked to bury his grandfather Li Chengqian and father Li Xiang in Zhaoling. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty bestowed Li Chengqian as the king of Hengshan, Li Xiang as the governor of Kuaiji and the Duke of the state of Ying, and bestowed Li Jue, his uncle and his elder brother. Soon afterwards, he became Minister of the Ministry of punishment and concurrently served as prime minister.

The prime minister was demoted
After paying homage to his prime minister, Li Shizhi and Zhongshu ordered Li Linfu to fight for power. But because of his rough temperament, he often entered Li Linfu's trap. Li Linfu once said to Li Shizhi, "there are gold mines in Huashan. Mining can enrich the country. The emperor did not know." When Li Shizhi went to court one day, he told Tang Xuanzong about the Huashan gold mine. Tang Xuanzong asked Li Linfu and said, "I have known for a long time! However, Huashan is the mountain your majesty originally ordered. It is the place where the king's spirit lies. It is not suitable to excavate it, so I did not mention it. " Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty thought that Li Shizhi was not careful and said to him, "in the future, we should consult with Li Linfu first." Since then, Li Shizhi has been alienated.
Soon after, Huangfu Weiming, the governor of Longyou, Wei Jian, Pei Kuan, Jing Zhaoyin and Han Chaozong, who were friends with Li Shizhi, were slandered by Li Linfu and exiled. Li Shizhi was frightened, so he went to Shangshu and asked to change his post. In the fifth year of Tianbao (746), he gave up his position and gave the crown prince Shaobao instead.
After that, Li Shizhi was very happy and thought that he could avoid disaster. At the banquet, he wrote a poem to his friends and relatives, saying, "avoid the sages, strike the prime minister at the beginning, enjoy the saints and hold the cup." In July of the same year, Li Linfu went to the imperial court to impeach Li Shizhi and Wei Jian for forming a clique and colluding with the deposed Prince Li Yu. So. Wei Jian was exiled to Linfeng (now Guangzhou), and Li Shizhi was demoted to Yichun Prefecture.
Take poison and commit suicide
In the sixth year of Tianbao (747), the imperial censor Luo Xilin killed Wei Jian, Pei Dunfu, Li Yong and others in the demotion Institute at the order of Li Linfu.
