Li Ziliang, born in Renzhou, is the younger brother of Li Ziqian, a powerful minister of Korea. He once sent an envoy to the Song Dynasty to advise song Huizong not to associate with Jurchen. As a result, song Huizong did not listen. After returning to China, Li Ziliang died in 1123.
Life of the characters
Li Ziliang was born in Renzhou. After her brother Li Ziqian's second daughter was elected to the palace, she became the leader of Yande palace. Yuanzi was born in the fourth year of Ruizong (1109) in Korea and was named Renzong. In the ninth year of Ruizong (1114), she was named princess. The queen of Shunde. Li Ziliang began to prosper as a relative.
In June 1116, Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty presented a new system of Da Shengle to Korea. In July, Rui sent Li Ziliang and Li Yong to the Song Dynasty to thank him for giving Da Shengle. Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty personally gave a banquet in ruimo hall, ordered Li Ziliang to write poems and give awards. Before leaving, Emperor Huizong secretly told Korea to assist Song Dynasty to contact Jin Dynasty. Li Ziliang declined and said, "a real woman has a beast's heart. She is the most greedy and ugly of the barbarians. She can't go to the kingdom." On the contrary, the ministers of Song Dynasty thought that Korea lied in order to monopolize the trade with Nuzhen. In 1118, song Huizong sent envoys to Jin by sea to discuss the joint extermination of Liao, and finally formed a maritime alliance with Nuzhen in 1120. Although the alliance destroyed the Liao Dynasty, it also harmed the Northern Song Dynasty itself.
After returning to China, Li Ziliang was promoted to minister of justice of the Ministry of criminal justice and vice minister of the Privy Council. Renzong of Korea ascended the throne and Li Ziliang was an envoy to the Privy Council. In the first year of Renzong (1123), Li Ziliang died.
