Li Pu, geochemist, petrologist and isotope geologist. Wendeng County, Shandong Province (now Wendeng City, Shandong Province), born on July 11, 1911 in Wendeng City, Shandong Province, graduated from the Department of geology of Tsinghua University in 1942. He was admitted to Cambridge University in 1947 and received a Ph.D. degree from Cambridge University in 1950. He returned to China in the same year. He worked as a technician in the Institute of geological survey, and then went to Southwest Associated University to study as a graduate student and teaching assistant. He actively participated in the Anti Japanese activities. He served as secretary of Li Siguang and researcher of Institute of Geology and Institute of Geochemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He died in Guiyang on April 26, 1968. He is also a famous calligrapher of the same name in Hunan Province, the leader of the youth team of the sixth Red Army Corps, a painter of Heilongjiang Province, the director of the teaching and research section of Harbin Medical University, a teacher of Chengguan middle school in Shangzhou City, Shaanxi Province, and a deputy chief physician of Pediatrics in Peking Union Medical College Hospital

Li Pu, whose name is Hanbing, is called boundless son, and sent to the owner of Lu. In his later years, he was named Chengya, and he was called Zhuo Weng. Beijingers gave him the nickname "unearthed cultural relics". Born in Hunan in 1944, he studied calligraphy at the age of six and studied printing at the age of eight. Li Pu's father and brother are both good at calligraphy, so they have been under strict supervision since childhood. There are no less than hundreds of calligraphy books in the family, which have been carefully studied. However, there are no less than 50 kinds of calligraphy books in the family. Each calligraphy book is less than one hundred, but more than three years old. Therefore, his calligraphy skills are profound, elegant and vigorous, full of spirit, and his book spirit is overflowing. He is now a member of Chinese Calligrapher Association and Hunan Calligrapher Association, practicing calligraphy for more than 50 years. The work is self-contained. The works of Li Pu, a famous Chinese calligrapher / sinologist, have been displayed on the platform of "Expo 2010 Shanghai China". Hunan Xiang Embroidery Research Institute, the authoritative organization of Hunan Xiang embroidery, has selected several works of the author, which will be mounted by the national Xiang embroidery masters of the Institute. The works will be displayed together with the original works in Shanghai Expo Park in late July 2010.
