Mou Yao (1227-1311) was a scholar named Lingyang. He was from Jingyan (now Sichuan) in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty, and moved to Huzhou (now Zhejiang). He became an official with his father's shadow, and was punished for Zhejiang and Cambodia.

In 1276, Yuanbing was trapped in Lin'an, that is to say, Du menbu went out, lived in seclusion for 36 years, and died at the age of 85. There are 24 volumes of Lingyang collection (including six volumes of poems). It can be seen in Volume 80 of Song Yuan Xuean and Volume 31 of Jingyan county annals by Guangxu of Qing Dynasty.
Mou's poems are based on the photocopies of Sikuquanshu (complete collection of Four Treasuries) in wenyuange, and the editions of Lingyang collected by Zhou Yongnian in the 12th year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (abbreviated as zhouben) and Qing Dynasty (collected in Beijing Library). At the end of the volume are the poems outside the original collection and the poems outside the new collection.
