Li Shu, 1148-1180, was born in Danzhou (now Danling County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province) of Southern Song Dynasty.
The third son of Li Tao, brother Li Bi. Li Tao praised Liu Xuanhua of the Tang Dynasty, saying that "Liu Xuanhua was worthy of the three hundred years of the Tang Dynasty". He admired the virtuous and square subjects, which made Li Xun and Li Shu study this subject successfully. In the fourth year of Chunxi reign of emperor Xiaozong (1177), he was responsible for the imperial examination of Song Dynasty, and finally became a minister (Volume 66 of the collection of Zhou Wenzhong and the tablet of Li Tao). He died in 1180, the seventh year of Chunxi.
