Baolian Daqu is made of high quality sorghum and shangmaite. Baobaoqu is a saccharifying and fermenting agent. It adopts the mixed steaming process of solid continuous distiller's grains, artificially cultivates pit mud, new and old pit mud, enters the pit at low temperature, double bottom layered mud sealing, sand returning and wine fermentation, slow fire distillation, wine picking by stages, cellar pottery storage, blending and tasting, and packages and leaves the factory after passing the test.

Baolian Daqu
Baolian Daqu is the product of Baolian distillery in Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. In 1987, it was rated as the high quality product of Sichuan Province. In 1984, 1986 and 1988, it was awarded the title of high quality product and golden Baron award by the Ministry of Commerce. In 1988, it was awarded the title of national high quality wine and silver award at the Fifth National Wine Review Conference.
Ziyang was under the jurisdiction of Zizhou in ancient times. Liquor making was popular in Song Dynasty. During the reign of Xining, Zizhou liquor class was "more than 30000 Guan". According to the records of Ziyang County, there were officials who supervised the liquor tax of Ziyang County in 1140. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, there were "Ziyang Chense, Wushi dry wine", and "boiled wine sold to Chengdu" was known as "passing through Longquan fragrant ten li". In 1951, Ziyang distillery was established on the basis of the old workshop to brew Wushi dry wine. In 1972, a new Qu liquor workshop was built and the liquor was put into production with traditional technology. In 1988, Yi was the current name of the factory.
