There are abundant hot springs and mineral spring resources on the lakeside.

It is located beside the highway from Shantou to Jieyang. It is on both sides of the mountain with longquanyan. The main gate faces the sea. Tropic of cancer sign

The Tropic of cancer marker tower was built in June 1986. The base of the tower is a three-stage round platform made of granite. The main building on the platform is a reinforced concrete pillar with the shape of "North" which is paved with white marble. On the pillar is a globe with a diameter of 5 meters. From top to bottom, there is a stainless steel pipe with a diameter of 45 cm and a length of 5 meters. At noon on the lunar summer solstice every year, when the sun shines directly on the Tropic of cancer tower, the shadow of the sun passes through the tube and is projected on the center of the black granite circle set in the center of the viewing platform.

In the east-west direction of the viewing platform, lay a black slate belt, marking that this line is the Tropic of cancer, with warm and hot plants planted on both sides. When we step on this slate belt, we are between the north temperate zone and the tropical zone. It seems that we can feel the rotation of the earth and have a mysterious feeling of crossing the two zones. "Observing the sun by the North mark" is a true portrayal of observing the sun by the summer solstice. Every year during the summer solstice (June 22 noon), the sun watchers are very enthusiastic, competing to see the annual spectacle of "no shadow at the end of the pole" and feel the alternation of spring and summer.

Sweet Dew Temple

Ganlu temple is located on the hillside of shiziyan in Sangpu mountain. It is the largest natural grotto temple in Chaoshan. It is a cave with an area of nearly 6000 square meters. According to Haiyang county annals, the place was "formerly known as the jade slips academy, and later changed to the Ganlu Temple", "it is said that there is a tomb of a filial son, but Ganlu falls, so it is named". According to the stone inscriptions in the temple, it was built by Jia BaoTi, the magistrate of Chaozhou in 1620. Ganlu temple is a natural rock temple. The temple is located in a stone cave shaped like a lion's mouth. It can be reached from the foot of the mountain with more than 360 levels. The gate of the temple is made up of three huge stones to form a character "pin". The traces of "jade slips academy" on the forehead of the gate can be identified, and the "manna cave" is still in existence. The upper cover of the Buddhist temple is covered by a huge stone flying out of the sky. The stone is as flat as a chip and as solid as a rock. It is a wonder. There is a praise in the cliff stone inscription on the temple wall: "in the misty clouds of Ganlu temple, the natural stone chamber is of miraculous craftsmanship.". In the temple, a statue of Maitreya Buddha is carved according to the stone, with bare chest and arms, big belly and deep navel. It has a free look and beautiful shape. The statue is 2.55 meters high and 4.15 meters wide. There is also a popular story about this Buddha statue among the local people. It is said that "the ship sank in Meilin lake and the rice came out of Ganlu Temple". Meilin lake is about 10 kilometers southwest of Ganlu temple. It is said that in ancient times, Meilin lake often sank rice boats, while the navel eyes of stone Buddha in Ganlu Temple often produced rice for guests. Later, a greedy hater chiseled the navel wide, and the rice did not come out. In the north of the temple, there is a spring "inexhaustible in autumn and winter", which was called "Ganlu Yongquan" in ancient times.

Dongshanhu hot spring sanatorium dongshanhu hot spring sanatorium is a famous hot spring in Chaoshan area. It is a low concentration salt and radioactive radon spring. It is suitable for the bath treatment of sports system diseases, surgical diseases and cardiovascular diseases. The water temperature is between 98 ℃ and 100 ℃. In the 1960s, dongshanhu sanatorium was built as a sanatorium base for employees. Located in shiziyan, Ganlu temple is the only stone kiln temple in our city. It is located in a natural stone chamber. A 700 square meter large piece of stone flies out of the sky. It is as flat as a chip and as solid as a rock. It is a marvelous sight. In 1870, Lin Daquan, a scholar in Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty, wrote: "in the misty clouds of the Ganlu temple, there is a natural stone chamber craftsmanship.".

The gate of the temple is made up of three large stones. The traces of "jade bamboo academy" still exist on the gate, and the stone of "Ganlu cave" is still there. The tall Maitreya Buddha carved from the rock in the temple has a beautiful shape with bare chest and open arms. The local folk story "Meilin Lake shipwreck, Ganlu Temple rice" is about this stone Buddha. According to legend, in the past, this stone Buddha navel can rice, for temple monks and tourists to satisfy their hunger. Later, because the monks chiseled the navel wide, rice did not return. There is a spring on the right side of the temple, which is inexhaustible in autumn and winter.

Sangpu mountain was a famous tourist attraction as early as the Ming Dynasty. The poem "chanting zhonglishan" in the Ming Dynasty says: "you can see all the good caves in Lishan Mountain every day, and you can see all the clouds and smoke everywhere. Zhongli's site should be a masterpiece in the world.".

Dongshan Lake is located at the east foot of Sangpu mountain, surrounded by mountains on three sides and a valley basin in the middle. In the lower part of the basin, there are large and small lakes with abundant hot springs and mineral resources. The hot spring is high temperature, low concentration salt and weak radioactive radon spring. The spring water is transparent, colorless and tasteless, which is suitable for tourism and recuperation. The mineral spring is calcium carbonate spring water, the water temperature is 27 ℃, which is suitable for drinking. It has curative effect on cardiovascular and digestive system diseases.
