Founded in the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty (1736-1795), more than 200 years ago, it began in 1983. After several years, it was built and improved continuously. There is a high mountain gate in front of the temple, a small gate on the left and right, a purple glazed tile on the top, a stone lion on both sides of the front, and "Wanfa Chaozong" engraved on the gate forehead The stone carving was written by master Shi Mingshan, former vice president of China Buddhist Association.

Main attractions
Temple sitting north to south, divided into three into, plus two, the total construction area of more than 1500 square meters, a total investment of more than 10 million yuan.
In front of the temple, there is a Kuocheng and a tall three mountain gate, which is "donated sincerely by Huang Guangsheng, Huang Ruji, Huang runeng, Zeng Qiuhua, Huang yuelie and Huang Rongjia in the year of Bingzi in 1996" (see the stone carvings on the back of the pillar), with purple glass tiles on the top. In front of the mountain gate, there is a stone lion on each side. The front door is engraved with "Wanfa emperor" (the back is engraved with "Huiguang huizhao"), and the stone door couplets are all written by the eminent monk Mingshan. Entering the mountain gate, there is a large area with parking lots on both sides. Looking forward, you can see the axis in the middle. First of all, two smaller palaces, Dafeng ancestral temple and Xuantian God Temple, with a construction area of about 60 square meters each, and a pavilion in the middle. Behind it is a more than 100 square meters release pool, next to the natural boulders, clear water. The stele of master Ming Lianchi's general admonishment for killing by Chi Pangjian is recorded in Jufeng nunnery. It was written by Li Yongzhi in the spring of 1988. Buddhists advocate "no killing", take the protection of animals as their own duty, and often "release", which is of great significance to the current protection of ecological environment balance. Huge stones stand on both sides of the release pool, and the mountains are lush. There is xianshiyan on the upper left and a seven story stone pagoda burning paper money on the right. What is particularly striking is that on the left side of the pool, on the huge stone wall, Zhao Puchu, former vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), wrote "the farewell work of master Fenghe Dingzhi". There is another ancient inscription nearby: "see the sun". Next to it are eight big cursive scripts, which are written by Li Zhaodong in August 1992. There are also stone carvings of "insight", written by Cai Qixian.
Behind the release pool is the Tianwang hall with the plaque of "Jufeng Temple". Inside, there are four giant statues of Vajra on both sides. They are about 3 meters high and magnificent. In the east of the hall is the zushitang (standing "Huangbo Liufang card" and hanging two portraits of master dingran and his apprentice Hongmi), the disaster elimination hall, and in the west is the Gongde hall and the dizang Pavilion. Further on, there is a spacious main hall, which is the center of the temple. The palace is more than 19 meters long and 5 meters wide. Eaves wing angle, glass Shenghui, solemn and brilliant. There are two stone lions in front of the gate. In the middle of the niche are three golden statues of the Tathagata Buddha, one on each side of which is the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva. There are eighteen Arhats on both sides of the niche. The ridge of the hall and the ridge top of the Sutra building behind are decorated with double dragon Falun inlaid porcelain.
In front of the main hall, there are bell towers and drum towers in the East and West. On both sides of the hall, there is a two-story monk's house, a reception hall and a Zhaitang. On the stone walls on both sides of the front of the hall are engraved the four stone poems of sunlight in the temple written by master Shi Dingzhi, the former chairman of Shantou Buddhist Association. On the east side of the main hall, a row of houses were built for square rooms.
Behind the main hall, climbing up the mountain from the stone steps, you can see a two-story Sutra library about 20 meters long and 5 meters wide, which is very magnificent. There is Bishan cave in the East. The stone inscriptions in the nearby mountain include the seven laws written by Cai Qixian, and the stone inscriptions: "the pure land of solemn Buddha, Hongyi. In August 1995, Zheng Zhensheng published the stone After climbing the mountain, another 1.3-meter-high white clay statue of the Dharma patriarch was seen. It was described vividly and placed in a 2-meter-long square glass cover. The statue is surrounded by huge stones and accompanied by big trees. On the nearby big stone is carved Dharma patriarch Faji, which is the official script of Shantou calligrapher Chen Yanwen. On the opposite side, there is a stone inscription "great compassion mantra". A few more steps up, you can see a huge stone on the right engraved with poems written by Li Zhipu and written by Liu Chongshan. Above there is a cave made of more than 10 natural boulders. It's about 10 meters deep, with four or five openings, which is very interesting. On the stone wall of the main entrance of the cave is engraved with the ink treasure of Shantou poet monk Chun Ming Yi Na (i.e. Shi yuanche). On the east side of the Sutra tower and the west side of the mountain, there are Hongmi and dingran Buddhist pagodas. They are made of stone slabs with beautiful shapes. They are inlaid with inscriptions to add color to the temple.
Wonderful poetry and fine ink
This mountain Buddhism, set peak, rock, spring, forest natural shape, not to mention engraved with many famous poets wonderful ink, is the place people yearn for. Unfortunately, in the past, the mountain road was rugged and there were few visitors. Fortunately, now the road is smooth and there is a stream of visitors from the car to the mountain gate.
