Xiamen yuanboyuan

Xiamen Garden Expo, full name of Xiamen International Garden Expo, is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of construction of the people's Republic of China and Xiamen Municipal People's government. It is the venue of the Sixth China (Xiamen) International Garden and flower expo in 2007, located in Xinglin Bay, Xiamen. It is composed of the original Zhongzhou island and its adjacent islands in Xinglin Bay, and some areas on the coastline of the West and north of the bay. When the construction started, the river was dug manually, and Zhongzhou island and its adjacent islands were planned as nine islands, connected by 16 bridges, forming the "water Park Expo". The total area is 10.82 square kilometers, including 5.55 square kilometers of land area and 5.27 square kilometers of water area.

The address of yuanboyuan in Xiamen is chosen as Zhongzhou island in Jimei, the hometown of Mr. Tan Jiageng, the "overseas Chinese flag". The total planning area of the Expo Park is 10.82 square kilometers, including 5.55 square kilometers of land area and 5.27 square kilometers of water area. It mainly includes the main exhibition area, ecological wetland park, waterscape and water sports, hot spring resort and other commercial facilities. The overall layout of yuanboyuan area is in the form of peninsula and island, which is composed of nine islands and two peninsulas. Five of them are exhibition islands and four are ecological landscape islands. On this basis, the natural island in the East, the apricot forest garden in the west, the education garden in the middle, the stone culture garden and the mountain forest leisure garden in the north are planned and constructed by stages to form a large green space like a central park.

Scale of scenic spots

Xiamen yuanboyuan scenic area covers an area of 10.82 square kilometers, with a land area of 5.55 square kilometers and a water area of 5.27 square kilometers, of which the water area is close to half of the whole park area. It is a unique water Grand View Garden in the world. Based on the vast water area of Xinglin Bay, the Garden Expo is composed of five exhibition islands, four ecological landscape islands and two peninsulas. It naturally forms the landscape characteristics of multi island structure, multi star garden on water and water in the garden.

The gate of Xiamen Garden Expo is like two egrets flying in the air and two white petals blooming in the Garden Expo. As one of the landmark buildings of the Garden Expo, the gate of flowers combines the egrets and white petals of Xiamen City, highlighting the regional characteristics of Xiamen Garden Expo, which makes people bright when they enter the garden.

The music fountain, built in the inner lake to the east of the main exhibition hall, is the largest, most technical and most magnificent large-scale music fountain in South China. Music fountain with laser performance, characteristic lighting and art of high-tech effects such as fire, to provide large-scale visual and auditory feast for the audience.

The 2100 meter long Yuanbo Avenue extends from the gate to the deep sea. The main road is actually a belt landscape park, which is designed and built according to the concept of gold, wood, water, fire and earth. Yuanbo Avenue connects nine islands into a pearl island chain with unique Southern characteristics. Parks are scattered on both sides of Yuanbo Avenue, where visitors can enjoy the different customs of Yuanbo garden.

According to the school of Chinese classical garden, combined with the style of modern garden, the Garden Expo has built 10 parks, including North Park, Jiangnan Park, Lingnan Park, ethnic style park, International Park, Fujian and Taiwan Park, and each park has its own distinctive characteristics.

Main attractions

Ethnic Park

The Ethnic Park is located in the north of Lingnan Park and the east of Jiangnan Park, covering an area of about 3.4 hectares. The design highlights the characteristics of China's multi-ethnic and multi customs, with the national customs square as the core, highlighting the theme of national unity and integration. A mysterious forest path is arranged inside as the public garden part of each exhibition garden, and through this path, the unique ethnic customs exhibition areas are integrated and organized.

Landscape architect's garden

Landscape architect's garden is specially designed for eight young and middle-aged designers who enjoy high reputation in the world. It is also a creative and bright spot of this Garden Expo. The garden is located in the south of the modern garden. Covering an area of more than 2 hectares, designers give full play to their wisdom and fully show themselves. Although many gardens are very simple, they embody a very high artistic conception. It is difficult to experience and appreciate a garden without going deep into its surroundings.

Environmental characteristics

The significance of garden emblem

Yuanhui is not only a variant of the word "flower", but also a dancing butterfly. Its yellow, red and blue parts are C, y and B letters respectively, which are abbreviations of Chinese Pinyin letters of "China" and "Yuanbo". It also represents the fruits, flowers and leaves of plants - yellow fruits, red flowers and green veins. The emblem of the Expo is a gift from the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of landscape architecture, the organizer of the third China International Garden and flower expo. It has been used since the third Expo. In addition to the pattern of the emblem, the logo of the fifth Expo and the sixth Expo are also marked with "shenzhen2004" and "xiamen2007" in the lower right corner to highlight the significance of the Expo Venue and time.

Construction history

The intention of the government is very obvious - to make every effort to build a never-ending Water Garden Expo, to add another "Gulangyu" to Xiamen's future. There are 1500 kinds of plants here. With this intention, various government departments are working together with unprecedented "teams" to promote the work of Xiamen Park Expo.

In September 2007, Xiamen Garden Expo will officially open for visitors. Although the opening time is nearly one year later than the original plan, one year is enough to make the Garden Expo more perfect and exquisite. According to the news from the on-site headquarters of the preparation work for the Expo, the work of the Expo is progressing smoothly, and some projects will be solemnly promoted during the current CIFIT.

Leaders attach importance to it and improve the organization

Since the sixth Garden Expo was settled in Xiamen, the Ministry of construction, the state Taiwan Affairs Office, the provincial government and other relevant departments have attached great importance to and supported the preparatory work of this Garden Expo. The Provincial Department of construction has organized major cities in the province to fully demonstrate the construction plan of Fujian Taiwan garden. The relevant government departments listed the project as a provincial and municipal key construction project, and around the theme of "harmonious coexistence, inheritance and development", adhere to the people-oriented, implement the scientific concept of development, and conscientiously do a good job in the preparation of the Expo.

He Lifeng, member of the Standing Committee of the provincial Party committee and Secretary of the municipal Party committee, personally presided over the meeting of the Standing Committee of the municipal Party committee, put forward requirements for the preparatory work of Xiamen Garden Expo, and made arrangements for organization and management, engineering construction, land acquisition and demolition, etc. Mayor Zhang Changping has also participated in discussions on the planning, construction and characteristics of the Expo. At the same time, in order to speed up the construction of key projects and improve the work efficiency, the on-site headquarters for the preparation of the 6th International Horticultural Exposition was established. Since the first press conference held in Beijing, we have completed the conceptual zoning design scheme of the Expo area, completed the constructive detailed planning and Road municipal special planning of the 676 hectare Expo area, completed the VI design and established the website of the sixth Expo, and the preliminary work of investment invitation and exhibition and project bidding is proceeding in an orderly manner.

Land acquisition

The land acquisition and demolition work of Xiamen yuanboyuan is the largest and most difficult one in the city's history. Excluding the water area, the land acquisition area of yuanboyuan has reached 8332.36 mu. The land acquisition area starts from Xinglinwan reservoir in the East, reaches Beixi diversion canal in Xinglin village in the west, reaches Jixing seawall in the south, and reaches the extension section of Xingbei road in Xiting village in the north. The types of land acquisition are widely related to enterprise land, eel farm, shrimp pond, residential and so on. Many land acquisition experts say that it is the first time to encounter many problems.

So far, except for the land about 1000 mu to the north of Xingbei Road, the other land of more than 7000 Mu has been completed and put into use, and the compensation for land acquisition is being paid to the villagers one after another. After the land acquisition, the relevant departments will immediately clean up the aquaculture in the Xinglin Bay Reservoir area to provide a solid foundation for the next large-scale construction of the park.

Since the announcement of land acquisition and demolition of yuanboyuan was issued in November 2004, the administrative committee of Jimei Cultural and educational district and the municipal department in charge of land acquisition and demolition have fully cooperated to "give the green light" to the land acquisition work of Xiamen yuanboyuan. At the same time, the coordination and supervision of the whole land acquisition process have been done well to make the land acquisition go smoothly and submit the construction land within the specified time.
