Haitan Tianshen is one of the "double wonders" of Pingtan Island (the other is shipaiyang). It is located in Nanhai village, nanzhong village, Tangyu, Nanhai township. Tianshen sleeps on the beach and stretches out to the South China Sea. It is 330 meters long and 150 meters wide. It is said that tens of millions of years ago, the Jade Emperor sent troops to catch Wukong. A heavenly soldier was tired and saw that the sea area was very beautiful. He stopped to lie down and have a rest. Later, as time went by, he stayed with the beach. When the Jade Emperor knew about it, he asked other immortals not to disturb him and let him stay here to guard the sea.

The natural sea erosion cracks around the God of heaven are like the Great Wall. The lower part of the stone man remains a columnar weathered rock body, tilted upward, more than 4 meters high, which looks like a male penis. It has long been a membrane worship of fishermen on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Folk legend has it that a young woman who has been married for a long time and is infertile can have a baby when she touches it, which has the magical effect of "Shizu" in the north. Compared with the large seated Buddha carved in Leshan, Sichuan, and the large Reclining Buddha carved in Wofo temple, Beijing, this celestial God of Haitan is better in shape, scale and manner.
