Tianzhu Mountain Forest Park

Tianzhushan Forest Park is located in the state-owned Tianzhushan forest farm in the northwest of Xiamen suburb. Fuzhou Zhangzhou Expressway passes through from the south, so the traffic is very convenient. The peaks of Tianzhu Mountain Forest Park are continuous and undulating, most of which are above 700 meters. The highest peak is Tianzhu Mountain, 933 meters above sea level, and the second peak is Xianling banner, 916 meters above sea level. There are five man-made lakes with a total water storage capacity of more than 1000 cubic meters, of which Xitou lake has the largest water collection area of 11 square kilometers. Tianzhu Mountain Forest Park

Xiamen Tianzhushan National Forest Park is located in the state-owned Tianzhushan forest farm in the northwest of Xiamen suburb. It is 36 kilometers away from Xiamen City and 35 kilometers away from Zhangzhou. Fuzhou Zhangzhou Expressway passes through from the south. The traffic is very convenient. The total area of Tianzhu Mountain Forest Park is 2651 hectares, and the forest coverage rate reaches 96.8%. Most of the peaks are more than 700 meters. The highest peak is 933 meters above sea level in Tianzhu Mountain, and the second peak is 916 meters above sea level in Xianling banner.

Construction process

On December 18, 2013, Tianzhu Mountain scenic spot passed the examination and acceptance of the provincial tourism and environmental protection expert group, and was awarded the title of "Fujian ecotourism demonstration zone".

The scenic spot belongs to low mountain and hilly landform. The mountain is the branch of Boping mountain, which is roughly northeast to southwest. The peaks are undulating, mostly above 700 meters above sea level. The upper part of the mountain is steep, with many cliffs, and the lower part is chicken claw shaped. The terrain is gentle and complex.

Climatic characteristics

The climate belongs to the transitional climate of north subtropical and warm temperate zone. The annual average temperature is 13.1 ℃, the average temperature in January is 0.4 ℃, the extreme minimum temperature is - 14.5 ℃, the average temperature in July is 25.4 ℃, the extreme maximum temperature is 39.8 ℃, the accumulated temperature ≥ 10 ℃ is 4143 ℃, the frost free period is 207 days, the average annual precipitation is 709 mm, and the precipitation from July to September accounts for 49.0% of the annual precipitation. It has the characteristics of "four distinct seasons, no severe cold in winter, no severe heat in summer, warm and windy in spring, humid and rainy in autumn".

Animal resources

In the scenic area, there are 1 species of national first-class protected wild animals and 2 species of national second-class protected wild animals. The animal resources in the area are mainly birds, and the bird resources are relatively rich. In 2008, 107 species of birds belonging to 14 orders, 40 families were recorded in the region, of which 9 species were under the second level national key protection, including brown winged azalea, small azalea, black winged Kite, osprey, common hedge, serpent, Linpeng, kestrel and Silver Pheasant. Six species are listed in cites (CITES, 1995), including osprey, snake carving, forest carving, black winged Kite, kestrel and thrush. Among the birds surveyed in the scenic spot, 76 species were listed in the list of beneficial or important terrestrial wildlife protected by the state, accounting for 71.3% of the total.

The tree layer is dominated by Pinus massoniana, followed by Cunninghamia lanceolata, acacia, Schima superba, etc.; the shrub layer is dominated by myrtle, Rhododendron, Eurya, holly, Machilus parvifolia, huangruimu, huangzhizi, Hedysarum chinense, Melastoma, leiocarpus luminifera, Eurya, etc.; the herb layer is dominated by pteridophytes and Gramineae, and the common species are Dicranopteris japonica, Adiantum flabellatum, Miscanthus nitidus, etc.

There are five man-made lakes with a total water storage capacity of more than 1000 cubic meters, of which Xitou lake has the largest water collection area of 11 square kilometers.

Main attractions

Tianzhu Lake

Tianzhu lake is located in the east of the scenic area, covering an area of about 9 hectares, with a water storage capacity of about 700000 cubic meters. Here, the beautiful love between mountain and water for thousands of years is deduced, and the profound Buddhist culture and the unique charm of Tang style are hidden. Yingying lake reflects the beauty of Longmen temple in the distance and Niugang mountain in the near. The surrounding places of interest, such as Zhenji temple, Yulong bridge and Shuanma stone, such as scattered silver beads, complement Tianzhu lake.

Lianger Lake

Lianger lake is located in the northwest of the scenic spot, with an area of about 10 hectares and a water storage capacity of about 1 million cubic meters. It is surrounded by luxuriant trees and green hills, just like a bright landscape inlaid in deep mountains and dense forests. In addition to boating in the lake and strolling along the footpath, you can also enjoy farm food by the lake. It is said that a deep pool under the lake needs one or two double silk threads to reach the end, so it gets its name.

Haoyue Lake

Haoyue lake is located in the west of the scenic spot, downstream of lianger lake, with an area of 24 hectares and water storage capacity of about 3 million cubic meters. The lake is covered with water and grass, rippling with green waves, and the bay is surrounded by green shade. It is winding and deep, like a fairyland in Taoyuan. Here, you can play in the lake, walk around the lake, and share the touching legend of "mandarin duck" with nature.

Longmen Temple

It is said that when Emperor Xuanzong came to sunset mountain (now Tianzhu Mountain), he entered Yi'an Temple (now Zhenji Temple) and got his name because the emperor passed by. It is close to the mountain and water, surrounded by strange rocks, such as loumi rock, Zen master cave, Yingzui stone, Wuzhi stone, Hippophae stone, immortal cave and so on. In the middle age of the Tang Dynasty, Huang Ba, the imperial master, once meditated in the Zen master's cave, and "one temple, one cave, one monk" deduced many moving legends among the people.

Zhenji Temple

Yian temple, formerly known as Yi'an temple, is located in the northwest of Tianzhu lake. It was first built in the Kaiyuan period of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty. It has experienced ups and downs for more than 1000 years. It was destroyed by the Northern Warlords. Now there are only ruins left. On the remaining stone tablet, there is the inscription "sunset temple", which was built in the Tang Dynasty. Tens of thousands of mountains and fields are enough for people to eat. " The inscription shows the grand scale of the temple and the prosperity of incense. Rebuilding on the site of the past, today's Zhenji temple is reborn.

Baizhuyuan

Baizhuyuan, with more than 200 kinds of bamboo, is a tourist attraction integrating sightseeing, leisure and popular science. When people are close to nature, they can also feel the green bamboo culture. There are different shapes of bamboo in the garden, such as square and round, arc and sphere; the bamboo pole has turtle back, Buddha belly, Guanyin, and the strangeness of bending straight; the color has the beauty of purple, green, yellow, green in yellow and yellow in green. Yulong Bridge

It is said that Li Chen, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, often bathed in the small pool (now called Yulong pool) where he lived when he lived in Yi'an Temple (now called Zhenji Temple). There is a stone bridge across the pool (later called Yulong bridge). The bridge pier is made of large stones. The bridge deck is paved with stone slabs 4 meters long, 0.5 meters wide and 0.4 meters high. The original stone bridge is still completely preserved under the new bridge.
