Historical evolution
When the bajingtai was completed, Kong Zonghan, the local official who was in charge of the construction of the platform, once painted what he saw on the stage as the picture of the eight kingdoms of Qianzhou, and asked Su Dongpo to write poems according to the picture. Su Dongpo "view this picture, you can think at a loss, can smile, but sigh.". It is composed of eight poems, the title of which is on the picture. In Su Dongpo's first poem "eight parallel preface to eight scenes of Qianzhou" and "preface to eight scenes of Qianzhou", Su Dongpo first proposed eight scenes of the city in Chinese history, forming a group of scenic spots for later generations to imitate, such as eight scenes of Yanshan, eight scenes of Hucheng, eight scenes of Hong Kong and eight scenes of Taiwan, which is a milestone of Chinese tourism culture. In the first year of Shaosheng (1094), when Su Dongpo demoted his official position to Lingnan road and passed Ganzhou, he visited bajingtai in person. After seeing the beautiful scenery of Ganzhou, he felt that the original poem "couldn't tell the truth", so he added the following preface. Since then, scholars of all ages, such as Wen Tianxiang, Wang Shizhen, Dai quheng and Guo Moruo, have written poems in bajingtai.
