Huangzhi Sancai kiln is located in dahuangye village and xiaohuangye village, Zhanjie Town, about 6 km northeast of Gongyi City, Henan Province. It is the earliest and largest Tang Sancai kiln known. It was first fired in the early Tang Dynasty (618-907), reached its peak in the middle Tang Dynasty, and was still in production in the late Tang Dynasty. The three color products mainly include bottles, pots, pots, bowls, plates, stoves, lamps and other utensils, as well as some animals and human shaped toys such as horses, elephants, lions, children riding horses, figurines and building components. The body is fine white with yellow, brown, blue, green and white glaze. It is crystal clear and bright with mottled and brilliant colors. Some also make decorative patterns by carving, decal and other techniques. The Sancai kiln site of Huangye is one of the kilns found so far for firing Sancai wares in the Tang Dynasty, which is very popular for its early age and good product quality. The three color wares fired by this kiln are often unearthed in the city sites and tombs of Tang Dynasty in Luoyang, Xi'an and other places, and spread to Japan, Korean Peninsula, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, West Asia and Egypt.
