East Tower Park

Dongta park is located in Guiyang County. The park is named after the East Tower (also known as Lufeng tower), which was completed in 1573, the first year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty. The park has beautiful scenery, simple and elegant. Taking the East Tower as the center, it has opened up "towering Yanta", "chuweng Guyan", "Dequan Longyin", "Lu Er Shixiong", "stone chime sonorous", "Qizhen Fairy Cave", "Xiaquan Rili", "yunya Youlong", "Cailun Zhuwu", "Yougu Feilu", "Kongming Guanxiang", "Songtao Changxiao", "Kuailu Caotang", "Zhaoyun sheji", "yuange Qingfeng", etc“ Nineteen scenic spots, such as mountain Pavilion sunset, Rong Lake falling wild goose, Xiang Yi Lou, and Ouyang Hai statue, combine the ancient and modern in one garden, which can not only give people beautiful enjoyment, but also give people the edification of revolutionary heroism emotion. The East Tower Park is a good place for Tourism, with a group of pine and gloomy, xiuzhulanglang, white clouds and breeze. Located in dongtaling, Shidong District, the garden is named after the tower. The whole garden takes the tower as the center and expands around, covering an area of 69900 square meters. The park is located at the east gate of the city, close to the people's Square. There are more than 100 stone steps leading to the South Gate of the park. There is also a concrete Lane circling around the gate of Dongtian theater on Wuyi North Road and entering the park through the west gate. The park is full of green trees with a green coverage rate of 93.7%. The main scenic spots are the East Tower, genyin village, South Gate, East Tower Zen temple, Wangjiang Pavilion, as well as small children's playground and "unique cave" architecture which is connected with the "underground world". East Tower, also known as Lufeng tower and Dexing tower, is located at the top of Lufeng mountain. During the reign of song Zhiping, sun Qi, a Jinshi, was built when he was the governor of Guiyang, and then overturned. It was rebuilt in 1531, and now it is combined with the scenic spots such as Lufeng temple, evening photos of Lufeng, zhuowengyan and Ouyanghai statue to form the East Tower Park.

There are also words such as "outside of Wang Meixi's study" on the road below the tower. The tower is majestic and graceful, with high historical, scientific and artistic value. In 1989, it was listed as the third batch of cultural relics protection units in Zhejiang Province.

The park was rated as Wenzhou two-star Park in 2005 and national AA tourist area in 2006. The total planning area is more than 300 mu, including more than 90 mu of flat land and more than 200 mu of mountain area. In order to better play the role of public green space in the park, Yueqing municipal Party committee and government decided to open it to the public free of charge on January 1, 2005.

According to the function, the park is divided into six parts: entrance area, sunshine lawn, plant viewing area, shady area, fitness and recreation area and East Tower Scenic Area. In the garden, flowers and trees are planted all over the open land, with high and low shrubs and rich seasonal changes. Shitingbu and stone arch bridge are built across the stream, and artificial lake and island in the middle of the lake are built in Tuoxi, which are equipped with meandering pavilions and corridors, integrating towering mountains, waterfalls and springs with garden buildings. When visitors enter the park, they can stroll along the winding path, stroll on the lawn, watch the waterfalls along the stream, listen to the spring, or walk on the stone road to climb the top of the East Tower Mountain. They can have a bird's-eye view of the city and the vast east China Sea, and express their lofty sentiments.

In the south of the mountain are the Ouyang Hai Monument and the bronze statue of Ouyang Hai martyrs.
