Langde Shangzhai is the birthplace of Yang Daliu, the leader of Miao uprising in the Tongzhi period of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers. Langde Miao village is located in the hinterland of Miaoling, 27 kilometers southeast of Kaili city. Shanglangde is open to the outside world. As the first folk custom village in China, Shanglangde is well-known: many Diaojiaolou, Lusheng hall and Fengyu bridge. During the festival or when the tour group comes, there will be warm welcome ceremony and grand Lusheng dance, bronze drum dance, bench dance and other Miao song and dance performances. Village layout

Langde village is surrounded by mountains. In front of the village is a clear stream flowing into the beautiful Danjiang River. Across the stream there is a rain and wind wooden bridge, along the stream there is a stone mill house, ducks play in the water, water vehicles on both sides of the line. On the opposite side of the stockade is Yangliu slope with 8 mu of flat land and a 150 meter long racetrack. Every year on the March horse day of the lunar calendar, young men and women of the Miao nationality at the junction of Leishan, Kaili, Majiang and Danzhai hold climbing activities, duels and horse racing. At its peak, there are more than 10000 people. Langde Shangzhai residence is built on the mountain, which is a wooden structure stilted building. There are five Huajie roads leading to the village. In the East, West and North, there are wooden pillars and tile roofs to protect the gate of the village, which is called "gate of the village" for short. On the village, wooden buildings with hanging feet are arranged in rows. The roads, courtyards and courtyards in the village are paved with cobbles or bluestones. There are two bronze drums and Lusheng fields in the village. The field imitates the pattern of the sun pattern on the surface of the ancient bronze drum. It is paved with Turquoise cobbles and stones to form twelve rays, stretching in twelve directions. The two ends of Tonggu and Lusheng are inlaid with pebbles and cement to form two galloping horses.

Folk customs

When you enter Langde village, you have to drink the wine according to the customs of the Miao family. Starting from the zhaijiao highway to the entrance gate of zhaitou, there are up to 12 wine cards for greeting guests. A square table is placed in the middle of the road for each wine card. On both sides of the road, several young men and women of Miao Nationality in full dress stand, holding a pot and a cup, toasting to the guests. Two earth bowls for each wine card indicate both happiness and longevity. The last wine card is to enter the gate of the village, and the earth bowl is replaced by big ox horn. Those who want to drink all the way to the village are not "massive". However, guests who are not good at drinking need not worry. As long as you put your hands behind your back, bend down and touch the glass with your lips, and politely say "Dou she Mo" (Miao language "thank you"), you can "pass". Although the host is hospitable, he will never impose difficulties on others. Welcome ceremony also includes burning iron firecrackers, setting off firecrackers, playing mang tube, singing wine songs, etc. After that, the women wore embroidered dresses and silver crowns, while the men wore long gowns and Mandarin coats. The whole village went out to lead the guests to the village center. The bronze drums are hanging high on the ground, and the young villagers present the traditional Miao song and dance for the guests: Lusheng dance, bench dance, wood drum dance, copper drum dance Finally, the whole village of men, women, old and young came to the stage in an endless stream, forming a number of concentric circles. With the idea of bronze drum dancing around the field, the guests were invited to enter, making the carnival climax. After singing and dancing, you can walk freely to the ordinary Miao family. The "creaky" spinning wheel and "Chucha" cloth machine tell the story of the peaceful life in the mountains. Traffic information
