Founded in 1901, the school was initially known as suanshueguan, Dade publishing house and Minli primary school. In 1912, it was renamed Dade school, and then added a middle school. In 1925, women's middle school was established as a famous private school in Guizhou Province. Because Dade school played an active role in the revolutionary struggle against imperialism and feudalism in Guizhou Province, it was approved by the provincial people's Government in February 1982 and listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Guizhou Province. It is a museum reflecting the development and changes of modern education in Guiyang and Guizhou.
Historical sites
Dade School entered Guiyang Dade school in 1905 because of martyr Wang Ruofei, a famous Communist of China. In 1912, he worked as a clerk in qunwangshe bookstore in Guiyang. In 1917, he was a primary school teacher in Guiyang Dade school and actively participated in the patriotic movement. In December of the same year, he was admitted as a Japanese official student in Qianzhong Dao, Guizhou Province. During that time, he had a preliminary contact with Marxist thought. He returned to China in May 1919.
In October, he went to work study in France from Shanghai. At the end of 1921, Wang Ruofei, Zhou Enlai and Zhao Shiyan initiated the organization of the Chinese Youth Communist Party in Europe. Mr. Huang Qisheng, his second uncle, a famous Democrat and educator, was the Liaison Representative of Guizhou government at that time, and once served as the president of Guizhou government. It is not only a historic spot, but also a holy land for remembering revolutionary martyrs and receiving patriotic education.
Dade Theatre
The newly added Dade Opera Hall is a combination of cultural connotation and humanistic sentiment, and is rebuilt with more than 200000 yuan invested by the Municipal Bureau of culture. According to the tradition of drama, the stage is decorated with antique wood carvings and drapes, the audience seats are all rattan chairs and wooden tables, and the upstairs box is reminiscent of the ancient times.
The theater is not large enough to accommodate 120 audiences. Compared with the large theater, Dade theater is more suitable for the performance of the troupe, and it is also a special performance venue for the troupe. In addition, there are bookstores and teahouses, which are good places for citizens to have leisure.
