Located in Yuhu village, Yuhu is a man-made lake dug by the Mu family before Ming Dynasty. Mu built Summer Palace, Yulong academy and deer farm by the lake. The earliest inhabitants of Yuhu village were the people who protected the palace and raised deer for the king of Naxi. Therefore, it is also called "channeling broad Luo". Yuhu and Xueshan deer farm are often mentioned in Naxi folk songs.
