Malu grape theme park, located in Malu Town, Jiading District, Shanghai, is a grape industry base and agricultural tourism demonstration site integrating grape planting, production, scientific research, demonstration, tourism and leisure.

Although Malu grape theme park deviates from the downtown area, it is close to Hujia Expressway, A30 suburban Ring Road, Liuxiang highway and Shanghai Outer Ring Road, so the traffic is very convenient.

Construction and development

Malu grape theme park is located in the northeast corner of Malu Town, Jiading District. It was built in March 2005, covering an area of 30 hectares with a total investment of more than 40 million yuan.

In order to optimize the grape industry, carry forward the grape culture and show the connotation of scientific development of Malu grape in the past 27 years, Malu town government approved the construction of Malu grape theme park in March 2005.

Relying on 500 mu of grapes, Malu grape theme park adopts modern agricultural facility cultivation technology, integrates scientific research, demonstration, training and leisure, and focuses on presenting ten landscapes to visitors "Lovers vineyard", "picking vineyard", "viewing vineyard", "water vineyard", "grape basin garden", "grape corridor", "grape Science Park", "grape Science Museum", "fruit and flower garden" and "fishing center".

Because of its beautiful environment and complete tourism facilities, Malu grape Park fully demonstrates the rural scenery and the charm of modern agriculture. In 2006, Malu grape Park was rated as "national agricultural tourism demonstration site"; in May 2008, Malu grape Park was rated as "Shanghai Science Popularization Education Base"; in 2009, it was upgraded to "national science popularization education base"; in the same year, the park was rated as "national AAA tourist attraction" "。

Since its establishment, Malu grape park has attracted tourists from all over the country.

The 2012 Shanghai Malu Grape Festival was solemnly opened in Malu grape park. Malu Grape Festival has been held for the 12th time.
