At the entrance of the ancient street stands an arched gate made of kiln bricks. Above it is a blue stone plaque engraved with the words "Sanlu ancient gate", which was carved in June of the 34th year of Guangxu. Gate is a unique building in Jingdezhen. Because Jingdezhen was under the jurisdiction of Fuliang County in ancient times, it was only an industrial area for firing porcelain, so there was no wall protection, only gate. There is a "Zhongjie Marquis Temple" on the left side of the gate. It is said that this temple was built in memory of Qu Yuan, a doctor of Chu Sanlu. According to historical records, in the sixth year of Yuanfeng in the Northern Song Dynasty, Emperor Shenzong of the Song Dynasty granted Qu Yuan the title of Zhongjie marquis.
Outside the gate of the temple is the ancient wharf of Changjiang River. Qu Yuan was known as the God of the river, the God of water, and the God of Narcissus. Thousands of years ago, merchants who came to Jingdezhen for trade had to go to the temple to offer incense, offer sacrifices and vows, or pray for the gods to protect the smooth sailing and safety of people and goods. Stepping into the "Sanlu ancient gate", you will enter the Qingjie street. On both sides of a 3-meter-wide Qingshiban Road, there are a large number of well preserved Qing Dynasty brick and wood buildings. The residents in the houses wash their clothes and wash their rice, cook in the stove, or feed their grandchildren and enjoy their family.
Sanlumiao ancient street
Sanlumiao ancient street is located on the opposite bank of the northwest people's Park in Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, at the intersection of Changjiang River and Xihe River, on the mountain mouth on both sides of Changjiang River, across the river from lishidu in the town. The whole sanlumiao ancient street is divided into three parts: Ming Street, Qing Street and ancient wharf. It is a famous historical and cultural block.
historical significance
In order to commemorate Qu Yuan, the great patriotic poet and "Sanlu doctor", local people hold "dragon boat rowing" and other activities every year on the Dragon Boat Festival, and build a "Sanlu doctor Temple", which is also named after the temple. Another way of saying is: according to the population system at that time, every 25 families were one Lu, and the village was just three Lu. Due to the influence of religious superstition, in order to pray for God's blessing, many temples were built here, so it was named "three Lu Temple". So far, there are many temple sites, such as zhongliehou, ganluling, Doumu palace, Yangfu temple, Sanlu doctor temple and so on. Nowadays, the pilgrimage crowd of Yangfu temple is in an endless stream, and the Pilgrims and pilgrims flow all day long. It is worthy of being the tourist holy land of Changjiang in Jingdezhen.
building structure
The Ming Street of Sanlu temple is 84.7 meters long and 4.5 meters wide. It was built during the Jiajing period (1522-1566) in the middle and late Ming Dynasty. It has a green brick street which lasted for 500 years and is still well preserved. The road surface is arched and there are open drainage ditches on both sides. The whole street is not as well preserved as the Qing Street, and the usual atmosphere is relatively cold.
The Qingjie street of Sanlu temple is 231 meters long and about 3 meters wide. There are stone tablets at the entrance of the street, which are made of feldspar strips and bluestone slabs. On both sides of Qingjie Street are various shops and houses. It used to be a very prosperous commercial street in the Qing Dynasty. After being restored in 1998, it reveals a trace of modern flavor in the ancient simplicity.
The ancient wharf is built with three layers of bluestone strips to meet the requirements of different water levels. It is very scientific. On the ancient wharf, there is a "Zhongjie Marquis Temple" commemorating the famous poet Qu Yuan, namely "Sanlu doctor Temple". The north side of Sanlu doctor temple is the entrance of Qingjie street.
The most eye-catching are the Ming Street and the Qing Street, which were built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties respectively. Each street has its own characteristics, which fully shows the prosperity at that time.
Historical evolution
As early as the Ming Dynasty, sanlumiao street had begun to take shape. Sanlumiao wharf was the main market town Wharf on the West Bank of Changjiang River. Gentlemen, rich businessmen and common people gathered in succession, mainly from Boyang, Huizhou, Yi County, Qimen, Tunxi, Dongzhi and other places. The geographical conditions here were superior. The wharf was close to the mountain and the river. Jingdezhen was one of the four famous towns in the country on the East Bank of the river. At that time, the wooden rafts went down the river and the fishing boats went down The ships sailed up the water, the cargo ships on both sides of the Strait docked, a hundred boats vied with each other, the fish sailed to the bottom, and the market trade was prosperous. The prosperity of commerce also promoted the development of urban construction, opening workshops, repairing roads, building docks, setting up temples and opening shops, which made an ancient street simple and prosperous. In particular, the street is paved with fired green bricks and built side by side into a turtle shell shape, which looks like a living turtle from the entrance of the village to the riverside wharf, winding like a dragon, while the riverside wharf is made of stone. The total length of the ancient street is about 90 meters and the width is about 3 meters. With the passage of time and the changes of society, the ancient buildings on both sides of the street have been damaged, but many of them are still well preserved. These Ming Dynasty buildings, with high historical value, have been listed as one of the cultural relics protection units by the Municipal People's government.
In the middle of Qing Dynasty, sanlumiao market town had developed into an influential commercial port, and the ancient street of Ming Dynasty could not meet the requirements of development. So, close to the foot of the west mountain, another commercial road was opened up, which led directly to the river. The old wharf was transformed, and large pieces of stone were used to build it from the shore to the underwater, which was bigger, wider and straighter than the original one. The ancient street of Qing Dynasty is 231 meters long and 4 meters wide. On both sides are the wooden structure of the board houses, one next to another. The pavement on the street is full of stone plates, with obvious grooves in the middle, which were rolled out by the old unicycle. How many years have you spent rolling on this hard stone strip to create the traces of today's historical aftertaste and charming scene.
There were four prosperous families in sanlumiao ancient street, namely Liu, Chen, Wang and Wang. Some of them were officials in the dynasty, and they were both officials and businessmen, which greatly promoted the prosperity of sanlumiao ancient street and made it reach its peak in history. There are rice shops, cotton shops, fresh goods shops, bamboo shops, restaurants, drugstores, tofu shops, slaughterhouses and so on. All kinds of goods are full of variety. The residents in Hexi don't want to cross the river for shopping at all, while the families and businessmen in Hedong town have to cross the river and go to sanlumiao street for shopping. It can be seen that sanlumiao ancient street has already become an important business distribution center of Jingdezhen.
Future development
There are several well preserved houses in sanlumiao ancient street, most of which were built from the middle Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty, and have important historical value. The most famous one is the House No. 3 of liujianong, which was built in the middle Ming Dynasty. From layout to carving, it shows the wisdom and exquisite skills of ancient Chinese craftsmen.
Today, the historical chapter of sanlumiao ancient street has been turned over, but its brilliant yesterday is indelible. The groove on the ancient street, which was crushed by heavy wheels, is the most powerful historical witness. It has made great historical contributions to the prosperity and development of Jingdezhen. People will never forget sanlumiao ancient street.
Sanlumiao ancient street was a waterway wharf with merchant ships and noisy people in Jingdezhen. At the entrance of the ancient street, there is an arched Street gate made of kiln bricks. On the blue stone of the lintel, there are four big characters of "Sanlu ancient gate". The whole ancient street is clear and clear. The Ming Street is more than 80 meters long, with 9 buildings as a group in the middle and late Ming Dynasty; the Qing Street is more than 230 meters long, which is composed of shops and various workshops in the Qing Dynasty; the steps made of hundreds of two meter long green stones are directly from the Changjiang River.
