Qinghai Tibet Plateau Nature Museum

The Qinghai Tibet plateau natural museum is located in the Biotechnology Industrial Park of Chengbei District, Xining city. The completion of the museum fills in the blank of introducing the natural ecology of Qinghai Tibet Plateau in China and even in the world, and becomes another "golden card" of tourism resources of Qinghai Tibet Plateau.

The museum has three floors. There are 24 exhibition halls, including natural treasures hall, earth treasures hall, Salt Lake wonders hall, blue sea hall, plateau uplift hall, ice and snow zone hall. There are not only large landscapes such as Plateau glaciers, canyons and Danxia landform, but also local unique specimens. The exhibits are mainly animal and plant specimens, ore and salt crystal specimens.

The "Qinghai Tibet Plateau" three-dimensional sand table in the museum is the largest one in China, followed by the "great beauty Qinghai" three-dimensional sand table, so that people can intuitively see the topographic features and distribution of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau and Qinghai.

The Qinghai Tibet Plateau nature museum is located in Xining City, Qinghai Province, with a total investment of 120 million yuan. It took three years to complete. The Museum covers an area of 18000 square meters, with a total construction area of 15000 square meters. It can receive 2000 visitors every day.

Adult ticket: 60 yuan. Children between 1.2m and 1.4m (including 1.4m) enjoy half price discount (with student ID card), while children under 1.2m and the elderly aged 65 and above (with senior citizen ID card or ID card) enjoy free discount. If there is any change, the adjustment notice of the museum on the actual day shall prevail.
