Xingshi village, Xingshi Town, Gannan County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, known as "the first village of Longjiang", is located in the northwest of Heilongjiang Province, 17 kilometers southeast of Gannan county. It is an immigrant village established by immigrants from Linyi area of Shandong Province in 1956. The village covers an area of 33000 mu, including 16800 mu of arable land, 11300 mu of forest, 4000 mu of grassland, 198 villagers and 956 people. The construction of the eco industrial park in Xingshi village provides a new way to solve the problems of agriculture, rural areas and farmers, and a good carrier for the construction of a new socialist countryside.

In December 2017, it won the top 300 in the 2017 influential ranking of villages.

On December 24, 2019, it was selected into the list of national rural governance demonstration villages.

Origin of village name

Xingshi village is located in the middle of Gannan county and the west edge of Songnen Plain, under the jurisdiction of Xingshi town. Xing 14 village is a "new immigrant village" established by Shandong immigrants in 1956. It used to be a wasteland. In the overall planning and assignment of the new immigrant village, it was ranked as "Xing" No. 14 new village in order, so it got its name.
