Hunan Hefu National Forest Park is located in the western suburb of Changde City, Hunan Province, with a total area of 333.33 hectares. The vegetation types are subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest and shrub forest, and the forest vegetation coverage rate is more than 90%.
Forest Park is an ecological park integrating natural landscape, cultural landscape and forest health care functions. It has 56 mountains and 42 valleys, and is known as the "green pearl" in Northwest Hunan.
In December 1994, it was approved as a national forest park by the former State Forestry Administration.
