Development history

On December 26, the reconstructed Xiufeng Park in Yiyang was officially opened, presenting a new look to us. Xiufeng Park was built in 1988. Due to the low starting point of planning and construction, lack of capital investment and other reasons, in recent years, the park has gradually lost its ornamental and recreational functions. The municipal Party committee and the municipal government decided to transform and expand it. With a total investment of 113 million yuan, the project officially started in June this year. After more than half a year of intensive construction, more than 110000 square meters of houses were demolished, 1.2 meters of lake bottom was dredged, and the depth was more than 80000 cubic meters. The drainage and sewage system has been thoroughly transformed, and the park area has been expanded by nearly 100 mu. More than 200000 trees and 80000 flower pots are newly planted in the park, with a green area of 73000 square meters. More than 20000 kinds of ornamental fish have been put in, and more than 500 kinds of lighting have been set up, adding music fountains, sculptures, white stretch film, corridor bridges and other scenery.
