Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge

Yichang Yangtze River Bridge is a river crossing channel connecting Yidu city and FeiTing District in Yichang City, Hubei Province, China. It is located on the Yangtze River waterway and an important part of Shanghai Chongqing Expressway.

The construction of Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge started on December 30, 1997; the closure project of the main bridge was completed on November 30, 2000, and the bridge was put into operation on September 19, 2001.

Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge starts from Yueyang Yichang Expressway in the west, crosses the Yangtze River Waterway in the East and interchanges with Qiaobei in the East; the total length of the line is 6074.948m, and the main bridge is 1206m; the bridge deck is a two-way four lane first-class highway with a design speed of 80km / h.

Construction process

On February 15, 1995, the feasibility study report of Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge was approved by the Ministry of communications.

On December 30, 1997, the construction of Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge started.

On February 28, 2000, the upper steel structure of Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge was installed; on August 22, the erection of 208 main cables of Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge was completed; on November 30, the closure of main bridge of Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge was completed, and the whole bridge was connected.

On September 14, 2001, Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge passed the acceptance inspection organized by Hubei Provincial Planning Commission and Hubei Provincial Department of transportation; on September 19, Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge was put into operation.

On December 3, 2004, Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge passed the completion acceptance organized by the Ministry of transport of the people's Republic of China.

On October 4, 2016, Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge carried out the reconstruction and expansion project of Qiaobei toll station.

On June 1, 2017, Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge completed the reconstruction and expansion project of Qiaobei toll station.

Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge is located in Yichang City, Hubei Province, China, connecting Yidu city and FeiTing district. It is located in huyatan, FeiTing, Yichang section of the Yangtze River, about 10km away from the center of Yichang city. The bridge starts from Shanghai Chongqing Expressway (G50) < / I and Yueyang Yichang Expressway (S88) < / I interchange hub in the west, crosses the Yangtze River waterway, and connects with FeiTing in the East The route through the bridge is Shanghai Chongqing Expressway < I (National Expressway G50) < / I.

Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge has a total length of 6074.948m, a main bridge length of 1206m, of which the main span is 960m; the full width of the main beam is 30.0m, the height of the central beam is 3M, and the height width ratio is 1:10; the width of the top plate is 22m, the horizontal width of the upper inclined web plate is 1.2m, and the width of the cantilever sidewalk is 2.8m; the thickness of the top plate and the upper inclined web plate is 12mm, the center spacing of the U-shaped stiffening rib of the carriageway is 0.59m, the plate thickness is 6mm, and the bottom plate and the lower inclined web plate are 12mm The thickness of the plate is 10 mm; the spacing between the diaphragms of the stiffening beam is 4.02 m, the thickness of the plate without sling is 10 mm, and the thickness of the plate with suspender is 12 mm. The height of the south tower is 142.227 meters, and that of the North Tower is 112.415 meters. The main cable consists of 104 bundles of steel wires, 127 mm in diameter and 1600 MPa in standard strength. The maximum length of the anchorage structure is 65m, the width is 39m, the height of the front edge is 42m, and the height of the rear part is 22.8m; the concrete volume of each anchorage is 42584m3.
