Dianjiang peony ecotourism area

Dianjiang peony ecotourism area is located in Taiping Town, Dianjiang County, Chongqing City, 100 kilometers away from the main urban area of Chongqing. Shanghai Chengdu Expressway and Yuwu road run through the whole area, 9 kilometers away from the county seat, covering an area of 30 square kilometers. Recently, the peony garden in Dianjiang County has passed the inspection and acceptance of the National Tourism Administration, becoming one of the first batch of agricultural tourism demonstration sites in China and the whole city. It is also the first national 2A tourist area in Dianjiang County, with an area of 25000 mu of peony planting, ranking first in the country. Based on the Huaxia peony sea ecological park, the scenic spot has built three key tourism projects: Taiping Lake peony boutique Park, bailing mountain peony Art Park and kaizhifeng Peony Culture Park. In March every year, Dianjiang peony is in full bloom, and the flowering period can last for half a month.

Travel Tips

Flower introduction: the peonies are mainly distributed in Taiping Lake peony Park, bailing mountain peony Park and kaizhifeng peony park. The first flowering period of peony is from March 25 to 30, and the full flowering period is from March 31 to April 10. Dianjiang peony garden scenic spot implements one ticket system, and the ticket price is 20 yuan. (excluding 3 yuan for nanzhushan Park). The peony garden is equipped with commentators.

Traffic routes

Self driving from Chongqing Yichang Expressway (Chongqing Renhe Changshou Dianjiang) down the road, mileage 126 km, toll 80 yuan (from Shangqiao, tongjiayuanzi, Shimahe, Chongqing Guizhou Jiangnan interchange can also be on the Chongqing Yichang Expressway); Yuwu Road, Dianjiang South Station Taiping 8 km, round-trip toll 6 yuan; Chengxi Taiping 5 km.

The self-help tour takes a bus from Chongqing to Dianjiang at Chongqing north bus station. The ticket price is 53 yuan and the journey is about 2 hours (Chaotianmen, Caiyuanba and chenjiaping all have buses to Dianjiang). You can get to the gate of Dianjiang peony park by the special line or shuttle bus from Dianjiang to Taiping in Dianjiang passenger transport center. The fare is 2 yuan. The scenic area is equipped with pick-up vehicles.

Transportation: take a bus at Guanyinqiao bus station to Dianjiang in 2 hours.
