Chongqing Garden Expo

Located in longjinghu Park in the new Northern District of Chongqing, the park is surrounded by streets, overlooking Jinyun Mountain, Jigong Mountain, Wentang gorge of Jialing River, Guanyin gorge and other mountain scenery, water scenery, gorge scenery and Beibei urban landscape. It is a super large urban ecological park integrating natural landscape and human landscape. The park is divided into six exhibition areas: entrance theme exhibition area, traditional garden collection area, international garden exhibition area, modern garden exhibition area, Three Gorges ecological exhibition area and landscape ecological experience area. Chongqing Garden Expo

Chongqing Garden Expo is the site of the 8th China (Chongqing) International Garden Expo. It is located in Longjing Lake area, Yuanyang Town, new Northern District of Chongqing. It covers a total area of 3300 mu, including 800 mu of water area. It is a super large urban public park integrating natural landscape and cultural landscape.

The main architectural style of the park is classical style and traditional style. According to the functional division, the park has four parts: entrance area, scenic area, exhibition area and ecological area, including 10 exhibition areas, 127 exhibition parks and 26 scenic spots. In 2014, the first season of "running brothers" of Zhejiang satellite TV was shot in Chongqing station. In May 2014, Chongqing yuanboyuan scenic spot was officially approved as a national AAAA scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration. In December 2016, it was rated as the top ten popular scenic spots in Chongqing in 2016.

In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the medical workers who are struggling in the front line of anti epidemic, Chongqing Garden Expo will be open to medical workers from the end of 2020.

Garden Expo

There are six exhibition areas, including entrance theme exhibition area, traditional garden collection area, international garden exhibition area, modern garden exhibition area, Three Gorges ecological exhibition area and landscape ecological experience area. 51000 square meters of landscape architecture and 26 scenic spots are built, and the classic landscape of 30 cities in 21 countries and regions abroad and more than 80 cities in China are gathered. It not only reflects the rich and colorful traditional Chinese garden culture, but also full of exotic.

According to its functions, the park has four parts: entrance area, scenic area, exhibition area and ecological area.

Entrance area: it mainly includes the main entrance, the East secondary entrance and the West secondary entrance.

Scenic Area: it is located in the slope between the flat Exhibition Park and the ecological area on the top of the mountain, with good visual appreciation and good sight. According to the structural planning of "one axis, two stars and one ring", there are many scenic spots, such as migratory bird wetland, wolongshi, shuangting waterfall, Longjing academy, wetland Huaxi, qingshanmaolu, Fengxiang qiuting, Huihui garden, Yunding Range Rover, Youyuan, Bayu garden, six scenes around the lake, Fengshui Langqiao, mowen world, etc.

Exhibition Park: according to the land requirements of planning and design, the relatively flat areas in the park are fully utilized to arrange urban exhibition parks, including 10 exhibition parks, including northern garden, Jiangnan garden, Lingnan Garden, Fujian and Taiwan Garden, modern garden, Huihui garden, western garden, Hong Kong and Macao garden, International Garden and enterprise garden, bringing together gardens of different schools in China and full of exotic flavor There are 127 exhibition gardens including the international garden.

Ecological zone: an area set up to maintain the overall excellent mountain ecological environment of the park, which is not only the green background of each garden in the park, but also the natural treasure house to maintain the diversity of animals and plants.

Image of scenic spots

The mascot shanwa takes "bud" as the prototype to portray a naughty, confident and naive seed image. She is cute, confident, and full of good expectations for the future of the city. She shows the image of a mountain city and Chongqing People's strong, independent and indomitable personality. She also expresses Chongqing People's warm welcome to guests at home and abroad and their confidence and determination to hold the expo well, implying that the city will develop infinite vitality and vigor because of its gardens.

Main attractions

Northern garden exhibition area

It is located in the valley to the southwest of the Expo Park and south of the central garden exhibition area, with an area of 44900 m2 and 15 exhibition parks. Closely linked with the essence of the artistic conception of northern gardens represented by the royal gardens, it highlights the strict visual control axis of the royal gardens and the symmetrical and solemn Royal spirit, making the gardens appear magnificent.

Qingdao Garden

Through its unique sculptures and sketches, Qingdao Garden shows the elegant demeanor of Qingdao as "the capital of brands", "the capital of sailboats", "the island of music" and "the city of film and television". With the characteristic landscapes of mountains, seas, cities and bays, it highlights the energetic and vigorous development of the city.

Anyang Garden

With Chinese characters (mainly oracle bone inscriptions) as the theme, it shows the development process and cultural connotation of Chinese character culture, and highlights the natural and humanistic characteristics of Anyang City.

Kaifeng Garden

Song culture elements including Bao Gong's incorruptible culture, Song Ci culture and chrysanthemum culture are integrated into the landscape artistic conception, so that the colorful chrysanthemum flowers are full of the garden, and the main landscape and garden plants are pleasant and complement each other.

Guilin Garden

Focusing on the theme of "coexistence of landscape and culture", the sunken stage integrating Guilin landscape, history and culture is the main scene to show the beautiful natural scenery and strong historical and cultural connotation of Guilin.

Shijiazhuang Garden

Taking the remains of Jingxing Qinhuang ancient road in Shijiazhuang as the prototype and Taihang Mountain as the carrier, this paper shows the ancient post culture of ancient vicissitudes and creates the landscape with the characteristics of northern mountain forest.

Heilongjiang Garden (Jiamusi, Qitaihe, Hailin)

With the design concept of "nature and culture growing in black land", this paper interprets the unique landscape impression of ice and snow, forest, grassland and wetland in Heilongjiang Province, forming a unique landscape picture of northern China.

Tangshan Garden

Relying on the development and construction of Caofeidian (the development of the sea), the three characteristic scenic spots in the park, namely, foreground, medium view and prospect, show the history, modern and future of Tangshan city.

Weihai Garden

The concept of "Peach Blossom Land on the sea" is introduced to show the natural style, folk customs and unique coastal city charm of Weihai with the natural, simple, quiet and elegant ecological and cultural landscape of Jiaodong.

Shenyang Garden

By connecting six characteristic scenic spots with historical context, Shenyang's hundred years of industrial history is integrated into traditional Chinese landscape gardens to highlight Shenyang's modern urban style of "harmony, green and innovation".

Changchun Garden

Using the design technique of classical garden, the main frame of Changchun Garden is constructed with pavilions, corridors, pavilions, pavilions and other traditional elements to show the unique charm and historical and cultural connotation of northern city of Changchun.

Changzhou Garden

Changzhou two major theme parks "Chinese Dinosaur Park", "global animation play Valley" elements are integrated into the main wall of the park. The feeling of "happy Changzhou, happy Changzhou" arises spontaneously.

Yantai Garden (Shengshi Yantai)

With the distinctive white marble archway and classical stone shadow wall as the main landscape, the historical context and living environment of "mountain and sea fairyland, wine city; livable city, leisure city" are fully displayed.

Luoyang Garden

Dalian Garden

Lanzhou Garden

Jiangnan garden exhibition area

It is located in the valley adjacent to the east entrance, with an area of 27400 m2 and 12 exhibition parks. The landscape management techniques of Jiangnan gardens are adopted to fully reflect the pleasant water atmosphere and elegant scenery of Jiangnan gardens.

Nanjing Garden

Based on the mustard garden of Li Yu, a dramatist and gardener, and integrating the regional cultural characteristics and modern design concept, the artistic conception of "one flower, one world, one tree, one Bodhi" is created.

Wuhu Garden
