Rumei Village

Rumei Town, Mangkang County, Tibet Autonomous Region governs administrative villages. It is located in the west of Mangkang County, northeast of zhuka village where Rumei town government is stationed, and northwest of Lawu village. It is on the traffic line of national highway G318 and g214. The altitude of the village committee is about 3100 meters. It belongs to semi humid monsoon climate of plateau temperate zone. It is humid in summer and cold and dry in winter.

Rumei village is mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. It raises yaks, horses, sheep, Tibetan pigs and other livestock and poultry, and grows corn, highland barley, Daphne genkwa, walnuts and other crops.

As of May 2017, Rumei village is a poor village.
