The cishou pagoda stands at the northwest peak of Jinshan mountain, with a height of 30 meters. It was first built in Qiliang more than 1400 years ago. In the last years of the Yuan Fu reign of song zhezong, the prime minister once recommended his mother in Jinshan Temple, and built one Pagoda in the northern and Southern half of the mountain, one "Jianci pagoda" and the other "Jianshou pagoda". In the early Ming Dynasty, the twin towers collapsed. After the collapse of the two towers, the existing tower was rebuilt during the reign of Guangxu, which coincided with Cixi's 60th birthday and was named cishou tower. The tower is exquisite, beautiful and tall. The tower is of brick and wood structure, with eight sides and seven levels. There are revolving wooden ladders inside and railings outside. There are scenes on the surface and different scenes on different levels. If you climb the tower and look at it from the railing, you can have a panoramic view of Jiangtian shop.

This is evidenced by the poem "Jinshan" by Wang Anshi, a famous statesman in the Song Dynasty
The number of heavy building pillow layer upon layer of stone, four wall windows open face wind.
Suddenly I saw the bird flying on the flat ground, and I was shocked in mid air.
On the flower wall outside the cishou tower, there are four big characters "heaven and earth are the same as Geng", which were written by Li Yuan'an, an eight year old child in Hunan Province during the reign of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. According to legend, it was Empress Dowager Cixi's 60th birthday. In order to celebrate his birthday, Liu Kun, governor of the two rivers, went to Beijing specially to meet Cixi. He flattered him and said, "the old Buddha is sixty years old. I don't have any gifts. I just built a pagoda in Jinshan of Zhenjiang in the south of the Yangtze River, named cishou pagoda. I wish you a long life." Cixi thought that this pagoda with her name, standing on the top of the famous mountains in the south of the Yangtze River, is really not an ordinary birthday gift, and can't help showing her joy. He asked Liu Kunyi: "you wish me a long life, and see how much I can live? "Liu Kun was tongue tied and speechless. I thought that no matter how much I said or how little I said, it would lead to the crime of beheading. When he was in a dilemma, a child among the officials quickly handed him a small note from behind. When he saw it, he quickly presented it. Cixi saw that it was the word "heaven and earth are the same as Geng", and she was very happy, and greatly rewarded Liu Kunyi. Later, these four characters were carved under the cishou tower.
