Linyi County Museum
Built in Sui and Tang Dynasties, the two pagodas in Linyi County Museum, which are not in the corner of the county seat, are well-known for "the interaction of the sun and the moon". They can be called a miracle in the history of science and technology and architecture in China.
Linyi County has a historic site of "two pagodas crossing each other". In the north corner of the county, there are two East and West brick pagodas, which were founded in the Sui and Tang Dynasties and rebuilt in the Song Dynasty. It is said that white snakes are hidden in the West Tower and immortals are hidden in the East Tower. Every Tanabata, white snake and Xu Xian meet. The shadow of the twin towers blend under the moon, symbolizing the reunion of husband and wife. It is known as "the shadow of the twin towers". Outside the forest, the hall of Yuan Dynasty and Linjin town are provincial protection units.
Development history
Linyi County Museum was established in 1983, under the leadership of the County Cultural Bureau.
Linyi Museum, founded in 1983, is located in the North Street of the county. With a total area of 70 square meters, the museum has more than 3200 cultural relics. The museum mainly displays the East Zhou cultural relics special column, stele gallery and so on. Linyi museum is a large-scale exhibition of cultural relics of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. It displays a number of newly unearthed and valuable cultural relics. The exhibits have a history of 2500 years. They are all objects and reproductions unearthed from the Eastern Zhou cemetery in Chengcun, Miaoshang township. This site is a group of tombs centered on doctors in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. With a total area of 300000 square meters, more than 220 tombs, more than 10 chariot pits and nearly 2000 cultural relics have been found. Tombs are well preserved, rich in relics, without any disturbance and damage. The original location of wooden car traces and artifacts is clear and complete, which is extremely rare in Shanxi and even the whole country. The excavation of Chengcun site is of great value to the study of the history, culture, chariot system, funeral system and Jin culture of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.

The Museum covers an area of 1100 square meters, with 345 square meters of office space. It is an old tile roofed building in the 1950s and 210 square meters of exhibition hall. It is a concrete building in the 1970s.
The basic display of Linyi County Museum is mainly the cultural relics unearthed in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. The order of display is the number of tombs, from large to small, with about 200 tombs models, chariot and horse pit models and restoration. In addition, according to the local and central work, temporary exhibitions such as Linyi cultural relics collection, ancient coins of past dynasties, history of Linyi liberation, cuyang painting and calligraphy exhibition and folk paper-cut dough sculpture were held.
Collection
There are more than 3100 pieces in the collection, of which 50% are bronzes unearthed in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and pottery from the Han Dynasty. Its publications include: Linyi scenic spots, Linyi calligraphy selections, etc.
