New year's gate of Tiantan Park
The gate of praying for new year is the main gate of the courtyard of the hall of praying for new year. It is the highest level gate system in ancient China, with five couplets in the hall, three rooms in the middle as the gate and Chongji stone railing. The middle gate of the gate for praying for new year is dedicated to the emperor. The emperor enters and exits the left (East) gate, and the officials enter and exit the right (West) gate. This building is the original of the early Ming Dynasty.
