The museum has the characteristics of military, knowledge and participation. Primary and secondary school students can visit the exhibition, make by hand, participate in the whole process of training and watching the flight performance, so that they can develop morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically in an all-round way. It is a big classroom for rejuvenating the country through science and education, carrying out national defense education and early popular science education of aerospace knowledge. Air model sport involves aesthetics, competition, innovation, interpersonal relationship and other aspects, as well as aerodynamics, radio, mechanical and electrical control, structure, manufacturing and other disciplines. Therefore, it is an important means to do a good job in quality education. Many people are determined to become talents because of the influence of this sport. The facilities of the museum are up to the standard of international competitions. It is also an ideal activity base for model aircraft enthusiasts. I hope that people of insight from all walks of life will jointly promote this cause of benefiting the country and the people, and that this place will become a cradle for children to fly to the blue sky.
Covering an area of 26000 square meters, the model aircraft Museum has a beautiful environment, rich exhibits and a combination of dynamic and static. architectural composition
Beijing Model Museum of Aeronautics and Astronautics is a science and technology museum which focuses on aviation science education and takes into account the teaching function in the school. Covering an area of 26000 square meters, the museum is divided into four exhibition areas: "aviation development history", "window of China's aviation industry" and "comprehensive exhibition area", three indoor exhibition areas and one outdoor apron exhibition area. Through a large number of vivid pictures, realistic models and detailed words, the exhibition area of "aviation development history" describes to the audience the initial flight ideal of human beings and the early difficult exploration of aviation. Here, the audience can see not only the Wright brothers, the inventor of the plane, and the world's first plane they built, but also the gallery of Feng Ru, an early Chinese aviator and designer.
"Comprehensive exhibition area" has a large number of physical objects and exquisite models. These exhibits represent different countries, different ages and different uses, and record the development of human aerospace science and technology from multiple perspectives. Fighter planes, bombers, reconnaissance planes, transport planes, helicopters and ultra light aircraft of various historical periods are arranged on the apron of the outdoor main exhibition area. The audience can watch the military aircraft used in the Second World War, such as Mustang (P-51) and thunder (P-47) of the United States, and see the transport aircraft with a service life of 20-30 years There are also jet fighters made in China, such as supersonic fighters, J-7 and J-6. There is a fascinating historical story behind every plane and wreck.
Venue features
1. Green action flight Festival
Theme: "dedicate a piece of green land, share a piece of blue sky". We call on the public to turn their enthusiasm for supporting the Olympic Games and beautifying the capital into practical actions, and organically combine tree planting, environmental protection and technological activities with flying performances. The implication is that only by making the ground greener can the sky be bluer, can they share the feeling of flying and breathing freely in the blue sky, and make people healthy and happy. It is held from March 12 to April 20 every year and is very popular.
2. Picking activities.
Make use of the site around the museum to beautify and afforest, plant a variety of plants, and combine picking with flying performance in the mature period (September to October).
3. Perform regularly.
A large-scale simulation performance will be held every Saturday at 10:30 am from May to the end of October (please consult before coming). On May Day and national day, the performance will be held at 10:30 a.m. every single day.
4. Buy a machine to teach you how to fly.
We should make use of the advantages of the venue to make contributions to the popularization of the model aircraft movement, and carry out the compulsory teaching and flying activities for the purchase of aircraft to limit the time and number of people. Free training ground for some young model aircraft enthusiasts.
5. Small hand holding big hand family competition
Take the family as the unit to carry out the hand-made flying competition or car and sea model competition, and each group of 10 families can start the competition.
6. Model aircraft production
Give each person a set of simple model aircraft to assemble and participate in the assembly under the guidance of the coach
The museum provides free prizes for the competition.
7. Flying show
The main aircraft types include chujiao 5 aircraft, AH-1 armed helicopter, J3 liaison aircraft, CAP-21 aircraft, Yun 12 aircraft and "Toucan" two aircraft formation, which can perform stunt flight, airdrop performance, colorful ribbon throwing, machine gun strafing, ground attack, etc. You can take an electric glider to the sky and experience the feeling of flying. You can also personally control the launch of the chang-2-c rocket model. When you press the button, the rocket will drag a long tail smoke and soar up to the sky. When you stab at the sky, you will feel very excited. In order to let people witness the flying momentum of large aircraft formation, the museum holds a large-scale simulation flight performance from May to October every year, which can shock your senses and mind at the same time. Maybe you'll buy a model airplane here and learn to fly. So, you tie a red scarf on your plane or fill it with wishes, start the engine and fly between the blue sky and white clouds. In fact, don't you just let go of hope and mood?
Collection
Beijing one
On the tarmac of Beijing Aerospace Model Museum, a silver, twin propeller transport plane is quietly sandwiched in the middle of a powerful fighter plane. The plane is not very impressive in appearance and seems to be a bit childish, but the mottled red Chinese characters and five pointed stars on the fuselage give people a sense of vicissitudes of history. It is a light transport aircraft designed and trial produced by Beijing Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (now Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics) and the first aircraft made by the school during the Great Leap Forward period. In February 1958, with the approval of Premier Zhou Enlai, the trial production began. It was made on September 20, 1958, and made its first test flight at the capital airport on September 23. The next day, it was named "Beijing No.1" by Beijing Municipal Party committee, and completed the flight test of routes from Beijing to Tianjin and from Beijing to Shanghai. In the history of new China's civil aviation, "Beijing No.1" has made great contributions. As the crystallization of the efforts of the previous scientific research workers of Beihang, it is also the source of strength to encourage Beihang people to innovate bravely. Beijing No.1 adopts two Soviet made piston engines with single wing, two passengers and eight passengers.
Straight five helicopter
There is also a retired zhi-5 helicopter on the apron. Zhi-5 helicopter is the first helicopter made in China. Its whole body is green. The huge propeller on its head is longer than the fuselage of the helicopter. If it spins, the air flow and noise will never be inferior to the strong wind blowing in Beijing in winter. According to curator Han, Zhiwu helicopter is the first helicopter made in China. Its prototype is the Soviet Union's "Mi Si" helicopter. It was built in Harbin in 1958 and put into production in 1963. It is mainly used for airborne, rescue, forest and fire protection tasks. Although Zhiwu helicopter has entered its infallible age, because of its complete functions and low cost, it is very suitable for the implementation of space recovery mission in Inner Mongolia. Therefore, it has been selected as a specific type of helicopter to recover the recovery module of Shenzhou-5 spacecraft! On both sides of the zhi-5 helicopter are the strong-5 fighter Made in China and the Soviet ra-11 fighter which participated in the war to resist US aggression and aid Korea. The La-11 fighter on display is the one piloted by volunteer pilot Wang Tianbao. This heroic fighter once shot down and injured three American jet fighters. Looking at the rusty spots on its fuselage, the gun sounds that have long dissipated in the sky of history seem to reverberate in our ears.
In the indoor exhibition hall to the east of the museum, there are also various kinds of aircraft engines made in early China. One of them is the "vortex jet" equipped with J-6 and J-5 fighters-
